Giving a thumb down and not playing until they change terms of service and stop spying players.

Needs to be removed from the store. I've had better luck getting it to run on LINUX then I do windows. any time I boot it up my Steam client closes out. NO OTHER GAME DOES THIS TO ME. I shouldn't have to run compatibility layer to make a game work. DO NOT purchase unless you want an ass of a time getting it to load. Insult to the entire Civilization franchise in so many ways.

Game is broken, each time I launch, not only it crashes it also crashes steam client...

This game is amazing. Unfortunately, the UI for newer, high definition systems is so small, it's pretty much unplayable now.

I don't really understand the antagonism towards this game. It's a stable, solid addition to the Civ franchise. The work that has gone into the tech tree is impressive, the affinities and the way they interact with the broader game-play is very sophisticated and the design is beautiful. Only one minor gripe is maybe that the soundtrack is very unadventurous but hey! You can't have everything!
