Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Sep 5 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
■Story
“168 remaining until the end of the world...”
Humanity is approaching its end.
In a world steeped in despair and chaos, a strange religious organization called Shuten Order emerges, yearning for the end of humanity. The group rapidly gains followers, eventually forming a small nation state called Shuten.
Tragedy strikes during the grand festival celebrating their nation’s founding—the leader of the Shuten Order is murdered. Soon after, the protagonist awakens with no memory, greeted by two self-proclaimed "angels". They reveal a shocking truth: the protagonist is the murdered Founder, revived by divine power. However, the resurrection is incomplete—their memories are gone, and their life limited to a mere four days.
To survive, the protagonist must overcome "God's trial": identify and kill their murderer.
With the clock ticking, the protagonist, given the alias Rei, dives into the tumultuous city as a detective. The suspects? Five ministers of the Shuten Order. There's no time to investigate them all. Choices must be made, and the pursuit of truth demands sacrifice.
Who killed the Founder? For what reason? Can the mission be fulfilled before time runs out?
Thus begins a high-stakes, four-day hunt for the truth.

This is an incredible game. Its not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but it was way more good going for it than bad. The writing is mostly good, with a few exceptions where things seemed to be drawn out for no reason by repeating things. In terms of gameplay, I think if you come into the game expecting the 5 genres of game to be some trendsetting type of achievement, you will be disappointed. The genres themselves are fine, some better than others here for sure, but at its core, this game is a visual novel. I have seen people talk about bugs in the game, I have not experienced any myself The good of this game: The writing generally is really good, I love the themes of this game. The character designs are so cool and everyone is so fleshed out. The MC is amazing and might be my fav MC related to a Kodaka game ever. There are a lot of WTF moments throughout. Lastly I think picking to do the narrative in this way can be good, sometimes it doesn't pay off. Some moments of learning things, that would be a huge thing otherwise towards the end of a route, are repeated at the end of some routes, and I get why as some characters know the same information, but not every character does, but it still doesn't change the fact that deflates the reveal when you already know that info as another route you may have chosen went over that info. Overall though, this game is great and I loved it! I had such a fun time with it. Blessed be the Shuten Order <3

This is probably the hardest recommend I've ever had to give. The premise is interesting, the characters have promise and the mysteries are intriguing. All plot-relevant characters are fully voice acted and sound good. However, the game feels quite clumsy both technically and in execution. Even though most lines are voiced I quickly stopped letting them play out since half the dialogue is just Rei being in prepetual state of bewilderment. Shuten Order's biggest draw is it's 5-games-in-one-way of presenting it's routes. However, since there are so many of them most fall rather flat and/or overstay their welcome. The game lack any options to jump back to a choice and at one point I had to basically hold the skip button for 20 minutes while watching Youtube on my second screen, stopping every 15 seconds to answer a question. The last quarter of the game suffers from rather extreme infodumping with some pretty wonky writing. The story as a whole isn't bad, but as I alluded before it is often clumsy and at point borderline nonsensical even for this type of game. Do I regret buying SO? No. But that's because I got it on a sale. The game took about 23 hours to beat. Had I bought it at full price I'm not sure if I'd be able to recommend it.
