Just a To the Moon Series Beach Episode

开头就玩不下去，漫长的发售间隔，从聚焦别人的故事变成主角的故事让人提不起兴趣，时代变了还是我变了？

Every game in this series just seems to hit me harder and harder. I don't think I have any tears left for the next one. I spent so many minutes at the beach, trying to find every message and smiling at every bottle I found just for the ending to punch me in face, then kick me in the stomach and leave me there with the pain. Despite the ending leaving you alone, you still don't feel lonely. I just love this series so much.

Here we are at the final episode of the To the Moon series. If you have made it this far, you have likely played the previous games and want to know if this conclusion is worth your time. In my opinion, it is not quite as strong as any of the three main games, though I would still definitely recommend it. It ties up loose ends nicely by the end. It is a little shorter than the main entries. Once again, the overall presentation is simply gorgeous. The expressive pixel art, the soundtrack, the witty dialogue, and the cute animations are all present, just as you would expect by now. Without spoiling the plot, I will say that it is not merely a fun reunion for all your beloved characters. There is something deeper going on underneath the surface, which becomes clear fairly quickly. And yes, it will likely make you cry yet again. Did I shed a few tears? Of course. Even if it does not quite reach the heights of its predecessors, it is well worth playing to get a true sense of closure for the series. Thank you to everyone at Freebird Games for creating such incredible experiences. I certainly won't forget these stories, even though a part of me wishes I could. That way, I could have the single purpose of experiencing them all over again for the very first time.

Te odio Kan Gao. Ojalá tu almohada nunca esté fría en una tórrida noche de verano. Ojalá te estés tomando una Coca Cola y se quede aguada por los hielos. Ojalá tengas una palabra en la punta de la lengua pero no consigas acordarte de cuál es. Es broma, te quiero mucho, pero has hecho que llore con un juego de 2 horas más que con ninguna otra cosa. Se suponía que este capítulo era un abrazo, no una puñalada trapera. Recomiendo 10/10.

I went into this thinking it was just going to be a wholesome, happy beach vacation hanging out with the characters I love. But right from the start, you can just feel that something is... off. That plot twist was absolutely brutal and left me emotionally wrecked by the end. Sticking with this entire saga has been worth every single second, and I honestly can't wait for the final game to come out. Thank you, Freebird Games, for yet another incredibly beautiful story.
