Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 is honestly one of the best games I have ever played, and I never thought dismantling ships could be this addictive, relaxing, and rewarding all at once. From the very first ship I cut into, I was hooked. Standing in front of these massive rusted giants makes you feel tiny, and then working your way through them piece by piece with hammers, torches, cranes, and forklifts is just insanely satisfying. Every cut, every smash, every giant slab of steel crashing down feels powerful, and the best part is that everything you do has purpose. Selling the scrap, upgrading tools, unlocking vehicles, and improving your character gives you a real sense of progress, like you are building a scrapyard empire from the ground up. What I love most is the freedom the game gives you. If you want to take your time and strip every bolt, you can. If you want to go full speed and rip through the biggest sections for fast profit, that works too. The contracts add fun challenges with time pressure while free play lets you chill and work at your own pace, and the balance between calm and intensity is perfect. The atmosphere is incredible as well, with realistic sounds of waves crashing, metal groaning, and sparks flying that make you feel like you are really there. The variety of ships keeps everything fresh, from small boats to massive tankers and military vessels, and each one feels like a puzzle to conquer. Vehicles are not just cool extras but vital tools that make the job feel authentic and satisfying, and upgrading your equipment feels meaningful every single time. I find myself losing hours without even noticing because it is so immersive, and unlike a lot of games that burn out quickly, Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 just keeps getting better the more you play. It is relaxing, it is exciting, it is rewarding, and it is unlike anything else out there. For me, this is not just a simulator, it is a masterpiece, and I can confidently say it is one of the best games ever made.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ran out of ships, life is bad again. This game is my comfort game while I watch something in the background, and has probably made my ADHD worse lol. Just wish the bugs for the fishing DLC would get patched properly.

This one feels better than the first in almost every way. They made some great improvements to QOL, animations, ship design, and tools. That said, some of the larger ships can feel clunky, poorly optimized, and at times make you feel like "how many more rooms does this ♥♥♥♥♥ have".
I only stopped playing because my Steamdeck can't handle the massive ships towards end of gameplay. The way this game has soothed my weary soul and broken brain after a day of work; the disassociation was S O G O O D .
