che dire, la saga megami mi ha sempre affascinato. questo gioco è semplicemente sublime, sia a livello narrativo filosofico, con le sue diverse scelte decisionali che porteranno alla sorte della creazione del nuovo mondo, ma anche perché riesce ad utilizzare bene la formula monster collector, non parlando poi delle fusioni che possono avvenire per evocare demoni sempre più potenti e fighi a livello di design """"LODE A TE KAZUMA KANEKO""""". classico gameplay turn based, tipico di un qualsiasi jrpg, ma che ti crea letteralmente dipendenza. Difficoltà non tanto difficile anche se' giocata in mod hard, bensì punitiva verso le fasi iniziali, ma poi quando si prende più consapevolezza di come ti muovi e anche dei vari tipi di debolezze che accomunano determinati demoni e si sale di grinding, si riesce benissimo a vincere, con un giusto dosaggio di sfida, perché come detto precedentemente il gioco è parecchio punitivo, ma non impossibile. (invecchiato bene)

I'll say that this remaster is incredibly lazy, in terms of remastering much of anything. The soundtrack is dark souls 1 on switch level quality, or just classic ps2 crackling compressed noise. Quality of life features on most modern Atlus games or just any modern game in the genre are not here, basically nothing new or even tweaked exists. If anything this is a port, not a remaster. However, I still recommend this game heavily. SMT III Nocturne is in my opinion, the best of the direct SMT series (SMT IV Apocalypse and SMT V are pretty good too but I'm an oldhead I guess), and one of the best games Atlus has ever made. If you haven't played Nocturne and are a fan of Atlus, or of the genre as a whole, i seriously recommend giving this game a try. I've beaten this game countless times on ps2, and have a 100% save under my belt on this version too. It's price tag is a bit high, for what it is. I'd wait for it to go on sale.
Dogwater port but one of the greatest games ever made. Also it features Dante from Devil May Cry series.
Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster
I got this game on sale. It's a fun dive into a pivotal chapter of the Megaten mainline games, but unless you're prepared for a lot of fighting and not a lot in way of elaborate narrative this will probably not be to your tastes. I'm having a blast, though.
