Reawaken your inner demon in a modernized version of the acclaimed ATLUS classic, Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Aug 10 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Aside from the *Still* compressed music and video files for the cutscenes, this remaster is pretty good. ALSO for those who want to get this game, if you want Dante, you need to buy the Maniax DLC and start a file on that version, as there's 3 versions available: Normal game *Without Raidou or Dante*, Chronicle *with Raidou* and Maniax *With Dante*. another thing, Raidou and Dante have the same stats and skills, just with different names, so just go with whichever you prefer!

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 25: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Atlus was on that good ♥♥♥♥ back on the ps2
kingdom hearts has screwed us again!
SMT 3 Nocturne is such a... strange game. There's clearly unconventional and to be frank, quite annoying ideas in this game. I'd never look at something such as the Kalpa dungeons or some of the later dungeons as good or fun game design. They are interesting, I can't really deny that. You can never just risk mindlessly walking through them. Nocturne can just outright decide that now is the time you die if you're not prepared. Unfortunately, most of how you prepare if playing blind is saving, continuing, and encountering what is ahead. Dying to it, then doing whatever it is needs done when you reload. What I'm trying to say is that Nocturne feels messy, furstrating and at times outright sadistic in its design towards the player. Yet, I couldn't stop. Even now after beating SMT V, I still think of Nocturne. It's simultaneously an example of what shouldn't be done at times and a fantastic case of genuine atmosphere and depth given to the player. SMT is rather unique in the current space or at least one of the few games in where everything the enemies can do, you can do right back. You can become the monster that terrfies their nightmares via SMTs iconic Press Turn system. Don't want to give them a turn? Then don't! Exploit weaknesses, criticals and dodges to make the enemy regret ever meeting you. I never truly appreciated Atlus's combat until finally playing an SMT title. But... as I said earlier. This can happen to you. If ill prepared, it's very possible to walk into a random encounter, never get to play and just die. Heck, even if mostly prepared one ill placed instant kill attack can just ruin your day. SAVE. OFTEN. Persona really doesn't hold a candle to SMT's combat and I'm not saying Persona is bad, far from it. Just that SMT is an outstanding improvement on it. That said. As you may have guessed, SMT is more difficult than Persona. I feel people overexaggerate this fact but as I've said that it's not terribly uncommon for the game to decide that it's time to die. It's part of the experience. That tug and pull between player power and dungeon danger. I won't harp on its difficulty. People have talked at length on it, just let me say this. Playing normal difficulty is fine for a first run. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Have fun and explore the mechanics that Nocturne has to offer. There's a wide range of mods for Nocturne, too. I don't recommend going too insane, but if you find something that bothers you and truly hampers your experience. Shop around, it can probably be fixed, removed or whatever. This game is fairly old, so I don't doubt something will annoy you. Most people recommend a completely free mod experience your first time but if you aren't gonna finish it without a mod, then what's the point. Moving to the story, it's rather thin. This seems to be an occuring theme with SMT. It's way more gameplay heavy than Persona. While Persona can take upwards of two hours or more to even reach the first dungeon, SMT will have you battling demons fairly fast. You'll encounter story NPCs, events, and a more on your journey through the dungeons and what SMT calls the Vortex World. It stays engaging, mostly due to atmosphere. I'd hestiate to call the writing steller or its story gripping, etc. It does the job. With SMT we're here for the gameplay more than anything else. Overall, I absolutely recommend Nocturne with a bunch of asterisks attached to it. I find it hard to recommend it as someone's first ever SMT game... maybe start with SMT V? At the same time, this was my first SMT game and as I've mentioned. I can't stop thinking about it. My first run was so shabby and I've learned a great deal and want to apply my new knowledge to another run. But that dungeon design, ugh... this game is so frustrating in that I love it, yet it does nothing but hurt me. Repeat runs will be much easier than your first. You'll be prepared for what's ahead and know what silly gimmick the dungeon is going to throw at you. My single, most solid piece of advice is to use buffs. Especially evasion. You live and die in Nocturne when it comes to buffs and debuffs. Go forth, die, and rise to Lucifer's expectations!
It's pretty good.
4/10,全方面不如SMTVV,阴死你坝了,有特殊癖好和生活过的太顺的就来玩一下吧。
