SHIATH

A neat little horror game with some fascinating philosophical themes and a short run time and gameplay loop which don't overstay their welcome. The game lasts about 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on you and once you've beaten the game once that is about all there is. There's some theory-crafting and reading-between-the-lines on the minimal dialogue that there is and the story overall is pretty up to interpretation, which is cool. For what I think is the dev's first game, this isn't a bad go at it. I think with more time and a larger budget this dev could come up with some interesting stuff. 6/10. It isn't super impressive overall, but there is something here for certain. I always love seeing new indie devs out there with interesting ideas.

This game was a nice refresher from all of the AAA games that companies spit out now a-days. SHIATH was such a blast to play through, I bought it in a bundle with "Loan Shark", but I personally liked SHIATH more. The game as a whole felt pretty polished, minus the shooting, but its the end of the world c'mon now. The graphics and overall design had me and a couple of friends very impressed, the characters as well were also enjoyable. The pig characters were very interesting and were pleasant to voice! (I would LOVE to voice some characters if possible they're so much fun to voice.) Overall a 10/10 game, one of the BEST niche horror game I've come across on Steam. Keep up the good work and good luck on your new project!

the story is great but i think the ending is a bit rushed but would recommend.

Interesting, linear game. There are different endings, for what little choice you can make. A good abstract kind of horror game.
