Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 18 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Some of the puzzles were fun, but as a whole it just became tedious. Add to that some annoying quirks - like a puzzle that doesn't reset and forces you to reload a previous save - and at least one puzzle that just seemed incorrect, and I was frankly glad to be done.

Game was really fun and it is quite interesting with this Arsene Lupin person. It seems to know what it wants and how to get to it ,fooling everyone around into doing his own game. I am curious to know how he was able to do all of that in museum section (for those who played ,know already) becuase for me i find it interesting how he was able to prepare ,either he stayed whole day in there or prepared whole weeks for it, not just messages but to be able to change the environment without his absence just for Sherlock Holmes to find it in such interesting places. This Arsene Lupin is quite the talent regardless and i enjoyed his little campaign againsnt him. Game is really good ,but only lacks a bit of how to be able to solve some of its puzzles and the messages (or im not that great at solving them), in museum was a bit too much in my own opinion, i admit i needed help a bit to track and to look around the whole area for some that i didnt thought it was there.
3/5 A decent game considering that it is from 2008. Graphics and environments are good, although the environments are extremely large for a find-the-object game. One interesting part of the game is that you are not in the sketchy streets of Whitechapel solving murders, but instead visiting the top sights of London, some of which are reproduced with amazing detail. This game is less focused on finding clues to figure out who committed a crime--because we know from the start who is the villain--and more focused on finding keys and other objects. There are multiple layers of "go fetch" such as when you need Object A from someone to do something, but first you have to help his brother find his lost cat, but to find the cat, you need to find some meat, and to get some meat, you have to do a favor for the butcher, etc... One frustrating part of the game is that items or clues are not available in a location until you hit a progress point. A box that was not clickable when you first walked into a room is suddenly clickable after you speak to someone or otherwise hit a progress point in the game. It makes for a lot of backtracking. The puzzles are the weakest part of the game. Some puzzles literally require outside knowledge (such as English literature) and others require some pretty sophisticated math. Other puzzles are just baffling in that you have no idea what you are supposed to do and there is no logic to them. The worst are the quizzes where you have to type in an answer to an obscure question, and the game is unforgiving. Another issue--solved in later games--is that you spend a lot of time figuring out "what the hell do I do next?". There is no "objective" list telling you what you need to do, so you have to decipher it from dialogue, documents, etc. Sometimes you need to talk to someone that you've already talked to, or you need to select and object to make it active before speaking. Other times, you have to put your magnifying glass over a hidden footprint or other clue. Overall it was still a fun game to play and it has elements of greatness that we see in the more recent games.
Some of the puzzles are good, but some of them are illogical and require hints. The entire library area I found difficult since it was elongated and unfun. If you are ok with using hints, then this won't trouble you. Worth a try for a sherlock fan, you will get something out of it.
The birds. The birds drove me to the edge. It's going to be a long time before I try to tackle the birds again.
