Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 18 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is, in my opinion, an over-ambitious jank-fest, riddled with performance issues and a good amount of tedium. But after THAT ENDING, how can I not recommend this game?
This game is sort of a mixed bag. I did like a lot of the mechanics then again, some other parts felt a bit off. Whilst its an overall positive from me, bear in mind that it is not everyone's cup of tea. First of all, A+ for the visuals & graphical fidelity. This is a gorgeous game. The shadows & lightings look really nice on EPIC quality without making your GPU sound like a jet engine. Although the game is locked to 60FPS, I really wouldn't complain about that in a story driven game. The open-world is a welcoming addition & complements the gameplay. Since you can roam the map at your own pace & learn the map, it helps a lot with identifying the key points of interest. Using the mind palace to link all the clues and coming to a conclusion over what actually happened is a real treat. Most of the time you will always end up with a question; should you punish them or let them go with a slap on their wrist. My main issue was with the combat. The shooting mechanic felt a bit off, like there was some sort of 'mouse acceleration' working in the background. Then the take-down melee quick-time is just MEH. If they implemented a fighting mechanic like 'Sleeping Dogs' then this game would have been a banger since Sherlock was canonically good at mixed martial arts (sorry to be a Sherlock nerd). I also felt that if a complete newbie in detective genre played this game, they would have a hard time understanding what to do from the get-go. There's hardly any visual cue (like a marker on the map or a pointer at a door) on what to perform after you have selected an objective. I get that it might have been a deliberate choice to promote open world exploration but still. Overall, Good game but could have been better.
The character of Jon just kind of kills the game, honestly. There's a whole disclaimer at the beginning about keeping in racial insensitivities to maintain authenticity, then they immediately spit on authenticity by removing an iconic and beloved character, replacing him with someone with the same name missing one letter but pronounced the same, making him a 2edgy4me psychosis hallucination that wasn't in any of the original stories, and then acting like players are stupid when they think the character named ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Jon is supposed to be John Watson in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Sherlock Holmes game. Like, "we're frogwares and we can replace a well known character with an edgy teenagers ♥♥♥♥♥♥ fanfiction with the same name because authenticity to the source material isn't important to us but removing racism in a series where it was only ever background context at most is a step too far and if you seem confused by John being replaced by Jon in any interviews with us we'll just be condescending about it and act like you're stupid and that's not an inherently confusing and idiotic choice at all." Just the whole premise of not having John Watson, but walking around with a hallucination of Sherlock's childhood friend who he imagines as a coping mechanism for his traumatic childhood, at best adds nothing of substance to the story, and at worst comes across like one of those idiotic cartoon fan theories where Angelica imagined the Rugrats because Tommy died and Phil and Lil were a miscarriage, or Ash from Pokémon is in a coma after getting shocked by Pikachu in the first episode and the rest is a dream. Please stop hiring these edgy writers who keep trying to reinvent the wheel by using themes and devices people stopped thinking were interesting decades ago. It would at least have value as mental illness representation if it were a good or accurate representation. I wish I hadn't added this to my backlog and had instead played it as soon as I got it so I could request a refund.
