About
Outrun the horde and survive another day in the war-torn Capitol.
In Shardpunk you already lost. Now you need to run for your life while saving as many people and pieces of equipment as possible. Keep on moving and use every skill and item at your disposal to reach the safety of fusion core-operated bunkers.
Put together a crew of survivors and use a range of steampunk weapons and bots to scavenge for resources, slow down the horde, and reach safety. Shardpunk mixes turn-based tactical strategy with RPG, survival, and resource management. From battle tactics to the most difficult decisions on who should receive the last medpack or rations, you’ll need to take charge and (hopefully) live with its consequences.
The Rat Swarm has breached the walls of The Capitol and flooded the city with its vermin horde. Push through three districts with progressively more vicious enemies, rising emergency levels, and supplies that dry up like blood from a knife wound. Constantly on the move, you’ll scavenge bodies and resource crates risking that with each detour the rats are getting closer...
XCOM meets Darkest Dungeon as Shardpunk combines turn-based tactical battles with the hard choices made at the bunker
Grid-based levels that are open for exploration and full of tactical possibilities while you run from the endless hordes of rats
A motley crew of characters to build your team, each one with unique abilities, equipment, perks, and shortcomings that affect their mates
Steampunk arsenal and technologies to use in battle that also requires mending and cooling, so they don’t backfire on you in the middle of the fight
Variety of resources to scavenge, upgrades to unlock, and equipment to craft
Detailed pixel art visuals that set the victorian mood and feast your eyes with fusion-core explosions

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ill give this game a very... mild upvote. Game begins strong, hard fights. Then you suddenly get stronger and stronger and the campaign just keeps going. Like 8 hour campaign, but you are bored 50% of it. The endscreen just pops up. It feels like the dev ran out of ideas / enemy types at the end. For a first game a good start, lets see what they do in the 2nd!
I am so confused... I was really enjoying the game and then it just fully bugged out or corrupted or something, idk. I went into a mission and then it wouldn't end my turn automatically anymore, and then I had to manually switch between character after using all their AP. On top of all that, the enemies just stood still and I couldn't interact with them in any kind of way... even the extraction was bugged and I couldn't leave the mission... I even started a whole new game and the exact same nonsense, I can't even get past the first part of the tutorial. This game is just broken, waste of money
First of all: I apologize if anything written here isn't coherent or clear; I'm Brazilian, so there might be some grammatical errors. To get straight to the point: congratulations on the beautiful and incredible work you've done so far. Your game is a hidden gem that I was lucky and pleased to find in this ocean called Steam, haha. I love pixel art games, and for me, it's a visual pleasure to have played yours. Not only that, but the mechanics, plot, and story are excellent. I was sad when it ended, but I'm very happy that the company will bring out a second game in the not-too-distant future. I follow you on social media and Discord. I found the new, simpler approach interesting, but I confess I liked it even more when I learned that the pixel art from the previous game has returned; for me, that's what makes your game unique and stunning. I hope everything is going well, and I believe it will. I have high hopes for this new chapter, and I hope that in the future the universe will be expanded with, who knows, new DLCs and games. I hope this review and comment reach you and give you a little more strength and encouragement, as well as help our players discover this gem that is this first game and soon the next one. Strength and success is what I wish for this game, franchise, and company!
I bought the game 2 days ago, and i'm having a great time exploring what i assume is the UK. Personally feel the difficulty for a first run was nailed just right on medium, and i can see myself enjoy hard mode once i understand the mechanics a little more, if you enjoy turn based tactics with a dash of survival resource management, then buy Shardpunk. Pro: - Simple to learn combat mechanics with enough depth to entertain you for a few runs. - Chapters and encounters are well paced, not too long or short, with enough loot that you'll never be truly tapped for resources, but rarely feel like you have enough to consider yourself safe. - Each chapter has a few routes you can take, allowing you to pick which fight sounds most doable to you, or allowing you to fast track whatever route has the best looting options. - The characters, while somewhat devoid of story, will occasionally call out encouragement to the others, making them feel a little more alive. con: - Armor values on the ratogres seems a bit high, if you didn't get any shred or pierce by the time they show up you'll likely spend a turn or two chipping at a brick wall with malicious intent. - Dodge is a somewhat irritating mechanic, as you cannot predict what an enemy can dodge, later in the game, stronger enemies will occasionally flaunt your 100% hit chance and tell you to go suck it ("it" being a dagger) - While each of the characters clearly has some backstory and personality, it isn't explored, and i do feel a little more time spent exploring each character's story just a wee bit more could have paid off. - That's it, i don't have any other cons.
Such a fun game with excellent gameplay, characters, and systems.
Very smooth experience of team control in the turn based tactics format. Immersive theme (graphics and music). Quick to playthrough the game (just finished first playthrough), but looks like there are different characters to add different dynamics to the game.
Dope game.
