About
Shape of Dreams is an action roguelite that combines hack-and-slash combat, MOBA-style team play, and strategic choices.
Journey through ever-changing worlds, from scorching lava fields and blizzard mountains to starry cosmos.
Dodge waves of enemies, land precise skill shots, and overcome each battle with quick decisions.
Play solo for a tense, skill-based challenge, or team up in up to 4-player co-op, where different combat styles come together to create powerful synergies.
Combine ever-changing skills and upgrades to carve your own path of progression, and challenge the dream world in a new way with every run.
No two challenges are the same, and no fixed build or strategy will always carry you to victory.

From swift close-range assaults and precise skill shots to wide-area attacks and supportive playstyles,
each Traveler approaches combat in a different way.
Build around your chosen Traveler’s combat style and face enemies in a new way with every run.

When playing solo, dodge incoming attacks, land your skills with precision, and shape your build through your own decisions.
In up to 4-player co-op, combat becomes even more dynamic.
When different Travelers’ abilities and builds come together, powerful combinations and explosive synergies emerge—ones that could never be created alone.

Use ever-changing choices to alter your attacks, enhance your abilities, and discover unexpected combinations.
Even with the same Traveler, the build you create can lead to a completely different combat style.
There is no single answer.
Build your strategy from the choices presented in each run, and take on challenges that may seem impossible.

The dream world is full of changing variables.
Four difficulty levels, distinctive boss encounters, and Lucid Dream modifiers demand different tactics and build choices with every run.
Rather than following the same familiar path, try new combinations that adapt to each changing situation.
The more you play, the more powerful strategies you will discover as you break through the dream world in your own way.
The dream awaits.

If you like Roguelites, this one does it well. It'll keep you entertained for a good 100 hours or so to unlock everything, more if you want to pursue greater challenges in the Limbo modes that unlock after beating the game once in Nightmare mode. Every achievement unlocks something cool in the game: new characters, active skills, passive skills, game modes, run modifiers, etc. It's a great way to do meta progression, since you can unlock things in any order you want. It keeps you strategizing and working towards new builds each run, preventing things from getting monotonous. You have a lot of granular control over the difficulty with the Lucid Dreams modifiers, but those are unlocked through achievements as well, so if you want to tone the game down beyond the default lowest difficulty, you need to earn it. Balance swings wildly between seemingly impossible and trivial, but you quickly learn that depends on how solid your build is for that run. Once you figure out what the terminology means and how all the different parts of skills interact and scale, you end up bullying the game. Twitch skills are necessary to avoid boss mechanics and stronger trash mobs, but some characters are pretty sluggish in terms of run speed and dodge cooldowns, which makes certain bosses' attacks impossible to avoid by default. You'll need to find skills and stat upgrades mid-run that give you mobility or allow you to tank a few hits. This isn't balanced like a Fromsoft game where you can beat the game without leveling up if you're patient enough. You kind of need to brute force certain mechanics through damage mitigation, healing through it, or just exploding the boss before it gets the chance to eat you alive. The characters all feel pretty different from each other, and they all have a lot of customization options. There's a decent amount of active skills and passive skills, and they interact with each other and each character's unique passives in pretty interesting ways. The terminology is a bit confusing, and the game doesn't do a great job explaining it, but if you like theorycrafting and planning out broken builds, you won't be disappointed. I get the feeling that some of the character designs were either someone's fursona or OC, but they're bizarre enough to be interesting at least. All in all, it's a solid twinstick roguelite whether you're playing solo or with a buddy. Highly recommended.

Every market we collect.
Same day: best JP #50, worst KR #78 · 3 markets collected
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 14.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Indie gem. If you like action rpgs, but don't want a grindy game then this is for you. Combat is fast and fun and enemies are very readable in my opinion. The skill system is great, trying out new combos is enjoyable. Great game for a quick session. You can even save runs if you have to quit during it.

A surprisingly addictive game tbh. Stunning graphics. Feels like a dungeon crawler through and through and the world building is thorough. Somehow each world always feels fresh and unique.
