Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.43/day in the week to Jul 23 → 5.71/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Incredible sand box experience. Obviously the investigations and missions are a ton of fun, but there is plenty of joy to be found just exploring.

Amazing free roam detective game with lots of silly moments.
Shadows of doubt is overall a mixed bag as while the core ideas of this game are really cool they arent fully utilized which can make the game feel boring after a few hours. The core of the game is that you are a detective solving crimes in a procedually generated open world voxel city. That sounds cool and in theory it should be. There are different types of crimes you can solve from simple theft to cold blooded murders and kidnappings. Unfortunetely though these systems are only explored to a superficial level. Most crimes of a certain type (although procedually generated) feel the same meaning for example once you have solved a few murders you have basically solved them all. Othertimes mysteries can go from being really easy to super difficult such as getting almost no information at all. Eg. they are young and have blond hair. How can I find someone based soley on this information its near impossible. Secondly there are many weird features that feel like they need improvement. Here are some of them. Despite being a detective, until you are max level you cant actually legally enter crime scenes leading to most investigations turning into breaking and entering simulator. In murders for example killers will confess the second you arrest them even if you have presented no evidence to them that suggests they are guilty. While weapons in game exist and NPCs can commit crimes with them you cant use them at all. Money is also very shallow as there isnt much to spend it on. Tools are very cheap relative to most contract payouts meaning the risk of loosing items is low as they can be easily replaced. Furthermore while you can spend your money on an apppartment there is little incentive to do so as it doesnt give you anything other than a place to shower which is needed for the hygiene stat even though you could just shower in one of the many houses you break into. Another feature is the citizen database located in city hall. Once you hack into it, which really easy to do especially since the area isnt even considered off limits, you can learn almost everything about someone just by looking them up, assuming you have their name, which removes a lot of detective work you would normally need to do. Overall I still would reccomend this game as its very unique (there is almost no other similar games out there) and the core experience of solving crimes especially murders is really fun. That being said dont expect to be playing for many hours as most crimes are fairly basic meaning you quickly get a bit bored. Hopefully more updates in the future can help improve gameflow.
worth the price, and the developers are still active

Murder will out!
The game was fun for a couple of hours, but after completing three murder cases and a few side jobs, it started to feel more and more repetitive. There are only about five different types of side quests and maybe three major cases. That’s pretty much it. Of course, the clues and details are different each time, but in the end, I felt like I was doing the same thing I had already done four times before. The interactive items are pretty much useless, and the hidden traders are also mostly pointless. Gun trader? Yes, you can buy guns and ammunition, but you can’t actually use them. The only reason you would want to find him is to check his purchase log, which can be useful for solving some cases. Black market? Pretty much the same as the gun trader, except you can sell items there. There’s also a loan shark, a pharmacy, and a few other places, but I didn’t even bother looking for them because they seemed completely useless. It feels like the devs stopped adding meaningful content to the game, which is a shame because it had the potential to become one of the best detective sims out there. So, is buying this game a good idea? I think yes, but only if you expect it to last a few hours. If you’re looking for a game you can play for 100+ hours, don’t buy it. You’ll probably feel like you wasted your money.
I was hired to get proof that this woman's husband was cheating. I break into their apartment, steal some booze, and find a woman he's messaging on his computer. I then go to the woman's apartment building, accidentally break into their neighbor's apartment, finally manage to get into the right apartment, got caught, beat up the woman and her bf, and stole their ID's for the case. Turns out I chose the wrong person and accidentally beat up two innocent people while drunk in their apartment. 10/10 game.
