The unique cyberpunk-meets-fantasy world of Shadowrun has gained a huge cult following since its creation nearly 25 years ago. Now, creator Jordan Weisman returns to the world of Shadowrun, modernizing this classic game setting as a single player, turn-based tactical RPG.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.44/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The public were told; but the idea of being intelligent is a fantasy of a delusional mind, a vanity of the ego; so easy to manipulate. You want to be stuck in an endless cycle of your own making, keep playing their game, as they too are stuck in an endless cycle of their own making. They, you, reap what they, you sow. Focus on your own journey, your own path in life; stop getting distracted and involve in their bright lights and loud noises, drama, to get you to partake in the mess they, you started and clear their mess for them; focus on cleaning up your own mess and stop accumulating more by minding your own journey. Your path may or may not be the same as another. Do not get distracted by what you believe is better, or allow the vanity of your ego to stray you away from your own path. Stay on your own path; and the destination of journey leads to true freedom.
Shadowrun Returns Review
Review is after completing the main game and all available side missions.
The Good:

Good world building; I am a newbie to Shadowrun but I felt the introduction into the world and its mechanics was adequate.
The story is linear, I didn’t see any story choices; just a few choices related to helping side characters.
Ability to hire mercenaries a.k.a Shadowrunners with various skill sets to supplement your own skills during missions.
Short and sweet campaign, does not overstay its welcome.
The side quests are few in number but decent in quality.
You [strike]don’t[/strike] DO bring a gun to a magic fight.
You [strike]don’t[/strike] DO bring magic spells to a gunfight.
Robust save system and ability to pause/stop the game at any time.

The Bad:

Multiple playthroughs are needed to experience the various skill paths in the game.
No voice acting in the game, not even short quips or exclamations.
The medi pack systems limited healing and the throwables short throw ranges felt a bit annoying to use.
No unique weapons or armour in the game.
The game could have allowed you to become more friendly with the Shadowrunners you hire, especially if they are hired repeatedly. I hired the same Street Samurai for each mission.
I bought the iconic armour shown in the game’s menu (the one with the glowing tubes) but I was not able to upgrade it, so had to switch to an uglier higher stat armour for the final battle.

The Advice:

DO NOT be a jack of all trades. I played as a Troll Shotgunner (maxed out for that race) supported by some combat magic. Combat encounters were much smoother due to this.
No need to use guides for this game. Quest markers are shown clearly and the city areas are not too large.
A short, sweet, delicious appetizer to the Shadowrun trilogy. Overall Score: 8/10

Probablemente.
Szerintem remek játék, mondjuk eléggé rövid volt. Eggyetlen egy bug-gal találkoztam azért lett egy kicsit hosszabb a játékidőm.
This is the first entry in the Shadowrun trilogy so you should start with this one. This acts as a good entry to the Shadowrun world with a good story and nice setting. The balance between the amount of text to read and the context is just right, making it really enjoyable. Perfectly playable on the Steam Deck. Grab a community layout and you're good.
I liked it. It was a fun and amazing run, I did modify the game a little bit, added my own portraits here and there, and in fact this title made me even more interested in looking at the other Shadowrun games. Maybe I will even check out the original Sega Genesis title. It's a true comeback, the one that we needed for a long long time.
Alors merci.
All the games in the Shadowrun: Returns are great, and this is where you should start.
A great intro for Shadowrun... An interesting combinaton of cyberpunk and fantasy world. You should try this.
