not a good game, very bland and over punishing. for the difficulty the controls are clunky and slow.
軽い時間つぶし程度に。2回目のプレイでクリアできました。リコメンドにしてますがどっちでもいい感じです。
Super nice animations and designs for the characters. Levels are basic but work well enough. The whole game is more like one long level in a game, rather than a game alone. If you're looking to grind for achievements and git gud then this is the game for you. After one play-through to get used to the controls it took me about 50 minutes to get to the necromancer. (Not that I can beat him yet anyway) Recommend to play when you need something to do without thinking to much.

Shadowcrypt is a Zelda 2-influenced side-scrolling dungeon crawler with a fairly limited scope - a handful of enemies, a small plethora of randomly-generated items, and a static dungeon layout that relies on memorization to traverse. What's here is done very well. Movement and combat is fast and pays proper homage to the game it's referencing. The atmosphere is good, and the music and sound effects are subtle and ambient in nature. I beat the story mode in under an hour, so it's definitely a very short experience, though the arcade mode may keep you entertained for longer. That said, I really enjoyed my time with it and found myself wishing there was more content here. Expansion into a longer game with some sort of map/marker system, more randomly-generated elements, and some variation in environments would actually be really cool. A fun, short play, but definitely get it on sale. Find more reviews and recommendations on my Steam Curator page, Indie Infinitesimal: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/41769714/
Animo ¡¡¡
Court mais vraiment sympa !!!
Got this game for 2$ and it's good! :D
This game honestly didn't really know what it wanted to be. Did it want to be challenging? Did it want to be unique? Did it want to be a technical masterpiece? I mean, nothing is really clear as to what the developer intended for this game to achieve. All we have here is an uninspired, dull and dragged out experience that'd make you scream for something more exciting to happen. My honest first impressions of this game that I was going to get a bit of a classic Prince of Persia vibe. I did feel a little of that from the graphical presentation, to a little of the layout and how you're fighting these skeleton warriors. However, that's about where the line ends for this game to give it any credit for. Everything else, it just dropped the ball. I only died twice in the game and I'm pretty certain it was out of sheer boredom since this game isn't that challenging at all. It's just a menial grind ahead of you. The weapons, aren't too distinctive from eachother. Some will do elemental effects, but they seem to mostly offer the same cycle of DPS between them, not mattering what name they are. Shields don't even do damage, they just serve as something to swat enemies back an inch away. For this game to call itself a Zelda II inspired game is a huge stretch, considering you can't even attack downwards. Again, what you're getting from this game is a very mundane experience, contrary to how well it tried hyping itself to be. It's someone's passion project who felt "ah, $5 won't be so bad, right?". No, you're overpaying if you ever buy this game full value. I bought this game for $0.79 on Humble Bundle and I think it's worth far more around that range for what you're really getting. That's three quarters of value, people. The only plus qualities I can even hand this game is that it looks crisp, plays like a game and at least has some nice responsive animations for what's coming to you. Aside from that - BORING as hell. **Post-Game Review** It took me less than an hour to beat it, subtracting the original 25 minutes I've played this game for originally. For an uninspiring, short and dull game, it's overpriced. Definitely worth the three quarters I've paid for it. This game is a developmental mess. The achievements seem like they're asking for too much out of this game. Why? Well, look at them. Some require you to destroy 100 enemies. What's the problem? The game is to imply that there'll be enemies that'll respawn. There weren't any such enemies until the end with the fight with the Necromancer. Every room you're in prior to the Necromancer, you fight a handful of enemies and once you beat them, that room is cleared. Doesn't matter how many times you revisit it - it's cleared. Again the only enemies that respawn, is when you reach the Necromancer. The devs seem to expect you to just sit in that room, killing skeletons over and over until you reach 100. Then play the game over to get other weapons with elemental abilities, which sound cool to have but downplayed in this game, to repeat the process. That is a poor excuse of game padding. I've read that this game had boasted about that it's got a non-linear level design, hence giving true to it's dungeon crawling environment. Nope, that's a lie. I've beaten this game in 50 minutes, even including a couple deaths. If it was non-linear, then I'd be in for an adventure with more hours tacked. That's not the case here. I honestly don't even know, after browsing through some reviews, as to what it is about this game that they claim is hard. To me, it was a breeze. I don't know, maybe it's because I cared enough to just get a game beaten while everyone else must've left it on in the background with no interactivity before deciding to recommend it. The only times I've ever died, wasn't even because of the game itself. It was just my own carelessness because I was just wanting something more out of this game to give me something to work at. It's just unfortunate that it never came. Just chip at enemies, withdraw, re-engage again. Rinse and repeat with some obstacles and jumping once in a while. The development studio is just full of themselves on this game. Overpriced crap, just admit it.
