Western Germany, March 1964... The last Great War rages on. Madness at the front lines. Men butchering each other. War-torn Europe stands ripped apart by a front line that runs straight through the heart of Germany where American and Western European troops battle against enemy forces.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

his game has atmosphere that has yet to be matched in any other game I've played. From beginning to end, you're exploring a world that is cold, dirty, and depressing. While the gameplay isn't perfect (the biggest flaw, I think, is the amount of back-tracking you have to do), it is a near perfect balance between twitch skill, creative tactics, and following clues. This is not a game for people who need their hands held by waypoint indicators. You need to move carefully everywhere you go, and save often - because you WILL die often.
A Rough Gem from a Stranger Timeline Iron Storm is one of those early-2000s PC shooters that didn’t try to compete on polish or spectacle. Instead, it leaned hard into vibe, concept, and a kind of grim, half-finished ambition that only that era could produce. The premise alone was unforgettable: World War I never ended. By 1964, the world is still locked in trench warfare, powered by crude diesel tech, iron exoskeletons, and experimental super-weapons. It felt less like history and more like a fever dream written by someone who’d read too much alternate history and didn’t care if it made perfect sense. And that was its strength. Atmosphere Over Everything Iron Storm’s environments were oppressive and bleak—mud, rusted steel, concrete bunkers, and endless gray skies. It wasn’t pretty, but it was cohesive. You felt trapped in a war that should have ended decades ago, grinding on out of inertia and cruelty. The sound design did a lot of heavy lifting: distant artillery, hollow footsteps, and weapons that sounded improvised rather than heroic. There was no triumphant orchestral score pushing you forward—just noise, tension, and silence. Gameplay That Felt… Unsettled Mechanically, Iron Storm was clunky. Movement was stiff. Gunplay lacked refinement. Enemy AI was inconsistent. But oddly, that worked in its favor. Combat felt dangerous not because it was balanced, but because it was unpredictable. You weren’t a super-soldier—you were a guy trying to survive in a broken system. The RPG-lite elements (stats, skills, progression) were ambitious for a shooter at the time, even if they were undercooked. They hinted at something deeper—an idea that FPS games could be more than corridor shooting galleries. Why It Still Sticks Iron Storm didn’t age well in a technical sense—but that’s not why people remember it. People remember it because: It felt different It took a big swing with limited resources It trusted atmosphere more than flash It belonged to an era where PC games could be weird, uncomfortable, and unfinished—and still ship It’s the kind of game you installed from a CD, tweaked settings manually, and played late at night with no expectations. And when it worked, it left an impression that smoother, better-funded shooters often didn’t. Final Take Iron Storm wasn’t great—but it was distinct. And in hindsight, that matters more. If you played it back then, you don’t remember the bugs or the stiffness—you remember the world, the idea, and the feeling that you were exploring a timeline that shouldn’t exist. That’s a rare thing.

Dude, this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome, and the fact that I'd never even heard of it until about a month ago is absolutely insane. I went and bought a PS2 copy of World War Zero just so I could do a back-to-back comparison of each different version, and after playing through them all within the span of two days, I can say for sure that this one is my favourite. It runs flawlessly on modern hardware right out the box, and as far as old school shooters go, this is some of the most fun I’ve had in a long while. I’d say it’s most comparable to HROT, although there are arguments to be made for games like Day Of Defeat and Return To Castle Wolfenstein/Enemy Territory. It’s worth noting that the store page contains screenshots from the updated version of this game; World War Zero. These screenshots include items and encounters not available in this release, such as the flamethrower and the final boss fight, which is the only thing I feel is really missing from this release. It’s also worth noting that there’s a bug in the final level which can make it difficult to access certain areas required for progression, but it’s possible to work around with a little perseverance. Aside from those few issues, and the stretched UI elements when using widescreen resolutions, I didn’t really encounter any problems during my playthrough. Anyway, criminally underrated game, and most definitely worth the price.
👍🏻👍🏻
более того, игра даже не как не накажет а просто не будет упоминания об этом. Данный уровень является показательным и следовательно способен "отсеить" многих ознакомившихся с игрой от дальнейшего прохождения. Вы в любом случае мало что теряете, даже к лучшему что вас хватило только до данного уровня;
II.
Запомнился мне тем, что вы попадая в него, вас как бы пленят иигра заботливо напомнит о существовании такой кнопки на вашей клавиатуре как "Delete". Также запомнилось тем, что вы буквально должны сразу идти смотреть прохождение данного уровня, поскольку вы рискуете тупо сгореть от "Гения" который придумывал уровень и его алгоритмы действия для прохождения (тут то я и сломался и просто пошёл смотреть прохождение уровня в интернете). Если игрок смог "затерпеть" предыдущий уровень и не дропнуть игру, то тут шанс равен 90% дропа игры. Короче говоря если вы осилите и этот уровень, чтож вы прошли выборку игрой и вам уже останется выстрадать ещё 2 уровня;
III.
The premise is good, but as junky as I remembered. TPS view is a joke and only good for peeking over walls. Also, without some file tweeking, steam doesn't count your game time
definitely a little rough around the edges, but overall still a solid experience. The game seems to run consistently, no crashes and no need for third party patches, shooting is what you'd expect, point and click. Checkpoints CAN be pretty generous (dependent on the level) and can save the game at any given time. Gameplay just bleeds early 2000's, Backtracking, visual cues for progression, lacks that handholding tutorial most games seem to have nowadays. Features both a first and third person modes and both behave differently. Iron storm sends you right into the action, Most of the weapons can be obtained in the first mission (no sense of progression with weapons, few exceptions though) The levels seems to be more non-linear to games of the era. It's not open by any means, just usually a few routes to reach your destination. There's a handful of enemies, the generic goon that shoots back, gradually increasing in gear as the levels progress. The eurojank is obvious within the first few minutes, but its evidently clear 4X had love and ambition for this title, and it shows, the game just takes some patience. oh and don't play on realistic (and i like getting the shaft)
