For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
One of my favorite real-time strategy stealth games
Currently, I'm playing through the game again to earn some of the badges.
Pros:

Gameplay: The gameplay is simply perfect. The controls and UI make for a seamless, smooth flow. It's so much fun taking out enemies one by one without triggering an alarm.
Shadow Mode: Something that was always missing in older RTS stealth games is the Shadow Mode introduced by Mimimi Games. It allows you to execute multiple actions simultaneously, which greatly improves the gameplay mechanics and opens up additional tactical options.
Level Variety: The levels are designed with incredible detail and offer great variety. The difficulty ramps up slightly with each level, but puzzling over the best approach is easily the best part of the game.
Characters: The characters genuinely have charm and personality. They aren't just simple silhouettes, but characters with real backstories and strong bonds. The cast completely won me over.
Story: Without spoiling anything, I find the story very well executed, and the setting of feudal Japan is a fantastic choice.

Cons:

Badges: Some of the badges are extremely tough and can be frustrating at times (though that only makes you prouder once you actually earn them).

Verdict:
If you like games like Commandos or Desperados, you will simply love this game. It's a real shame that Mimimi Games is no longer around, as quality like this has become quite rare lately.
What a wonderful game Shadow Tactics is! I played a lot of Commandos and Desperados when they released and long after that. They feel dated of course and I always assumed this game style couldn't be translated into a modern contemporary form. I was wrong. Even playing with a controller is perfectly fine. The missions are a blast, they are different in approaches, setting and atmosphere. The characters are a joy to play with their own strengths, yet the system is agile enough that you can favour one (or more) - and they are all very likeable! The story is ... there. And superficial. But that's obviously not the focus of the game. Even so, I never felt it was lacking or even bothering bland. It just is a tool for different maps. Works for me. The difficulty is a not as famously teeth-grinding as Commandos, esp. BTCOD, but this is also not a cake walk. I still feel Commandos was more of a sandbox while Shadow Tactics is a bit more composed in terms of obvious paths. But maybe this is pure nostalgia speaking here. Overall, I had such a great time with Shadow Tactics.
Shadow Tactics is a fun stealth RTT set in Edo-era Japan, with five distinct characters whose abilities make each mission feel like a big tactical puzzle. I really enjoyed figuring out how to combine their skills, and the game keeps things fresh with wrinkles like snow tracks, darkness, and missions that force you to rethink your usual strategy. The characters and simple story are also surprisingly engaging. My main issue was the camera, especially on controller, where bad angles and blind spots could hide enemies and get me killed, so constant saving became mandatory. Good game, clever design, but enough friction to keep it at 6/10.
Great game, insanely fun. Ignore how a samurai abandoned all of his honor to stab people behind the back with no repercussions. Each character kit is small but are distinct from each other and are effective in their own right. The map design can get really big and complex so it's always a good challenge to find where in the security net that you can poke through. The game can be really hard or easy depends if you really want to kill all the civilians or want to do no HP loss runs. The controls might feel a bit weird on keyboard if you had no prior experience but I find it really intuitive using a controller, and this is coming from a person who has never played rts. The enemy AI can be a bit dumb as they only work track you based on sight and sound and has 0 object permanence; this is a balanced choice because being found out can result in an instant failstate 90% of the time. 100% recommend, everyone likes solving a good problem, everyone likes japan, and everyone likes Yuki
