Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 25 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Severance is a 1–5 player co-op paranormal investigation game, with a twist...
YOU can become the ghost.
Severance is a 1–5 player, online co-op, tactical horror game. You and your team of investigators enter haunted locations to track and identify 20+ unique ghost types using professional paranormal equipment. Use tools like EMF Meters, Video Cameras and Possession Dolls to gather evidence and spot specific behavioral "tells." Whether facing a brutal AI or a player-controlled ghost in Asymmetrical mode, you must use your learned skills to solve the mystery before the hunt begins.
Choose how you play:
Face a smart Ghost AI designed to stalk, scare, and hunt investigators.
Or enter the Ghost Player Mode, where you hunt as the ghost against your investigating friends
In Ghost Player mode, one player becomes the ghost.
Interact with the map, scare investigators, lock doors, throw objects, and plan hunts strategically. Outplay the team by managing sanity, timing hunts, and creating fear before striking.
In Ghost AI mode, the entity is controlled by an advanced AI that actively observes investigators, reacts to their actions, and builds pressure over time.
It uses the environment, drains sanity, and hunts when the moment is right, creating tense, unpredictable investigations.
Use classic paranormal equipment to gather real evidence and identify the ghost type.
Be aware, the ghost sees and hears you. Every scare, interaction, or mistake can become valuable evidence if you stay calm under pressure.
Severance features realistic visuals, environmental audio, and a minimal UI for full immersion.
Every sound, shadow, and flicker could be a clue… or a warning.
Arm yourself with classic paranormal tools like EMF meters and thermometers, alongside unique devices such as possession dolls to track and provoke the entity.
Success relies on teamwork. Share evidence, communicate clearly, and watch each other’s backs, because whether it’s AI or a real player, the ghost is always listening.

This game brings lots of jump scares and fun. I definitely recommend it!
I'll be honest—I normally don't play ghost hunting games. I picked up Severance after watching a friend stream it, and I figured I'd give it a shot. I'm glad I did, because I've ended up completely hooked. I've seen quite a few negative reviews, and while everyone is entitled to their opinion, I think many people are forgetting one very important detail: this is an Early Access game. Buying into Early Access means you're not just purchasing a finished product—you're helping shape one. Developers rely on the community to report bugs, suggest features, and provide feedback that helps guide development. With that in mind, what this solo developer has already accomplished is genuinely impressive. The core gameplay is fun, tense, and creates some hilarious moments with friends. My favorite part is the ability to play as the ghost. There's something incredibly satisfying about stalking your friends, staying hidden, setting up the perfect scare, and hunting them while they desperately try to figure out where you are. Is the game perfect? No. There are bugs, rough edges, and features that still need polish. That's exactly what I expect from an Early Access title. What matters is that the foundation is solid, the gameplay loop is enjoyable, and the developer appears committed to improving it. I'm especially looking forward to the upcoming update. If you're expecting a fully polished AAA experience, Early Access probably isn't for you. But if you're willing to support an indie developer, provide feedback, and enjoy watching a game grow, Severance already offers a lot of fun—and I think it has the potential to become something truly special. Looking forward to seeing where this game goes.

I can't recommend this game right now. It has some fun elements to it, like some cool ghost event jump scares, but that's about all I liked. The pacing feels slow; it was consistently just annoying trying to wait around for evidence while the ghost did basically nothing. The UI is confusing, and the money I had available would not update as I bought things. Then, when I ran out of money, the shop says "Sufficient Funds" instead of "Insufficient". When I progressed to level 2, the leader board did not update correctly. My equipment would go up and down in my hand any time I was standing near anything in the map. These things just made my time in the game not an enjoyable experience, and ends up making the game feel sloppy.

簡単にいうと、ファスモフォビアです。このゲームのいいところはハンター側の操作をマルチプレイの時にできます!ビビり4人をつれて脅かしてやりましょう!! ただゲームvcの品質が低いのでそこが問題点だと思います。
i love this game but it still needs work but so far very fun and good
Leaving a few first impressions so I don't forget, and the dev seems to really appreciate honest thoughts! As a veteran of investigation ghost games, here's what I notice right away: About the basics: - The customizable computer, awesome touch. Big fan of the PC system. It's different than the other games. - Controls are generally the same as the rest, making it easy for experienced ghost hunters to get used to the controls since there is no tutorial yet! Love that. - Initially I was a bit worried when it said "need 2 players", since I don't have many friends and am not into playing with strangers... BUT, I found out it's just because it was set to 2 players, 1 as ghost by default. If you encounter that, just navigate the computer menu til you find the game mode and swap it to Ai ghost :D - All features were easy to find and felt intuitive! - Character customization: While, yes, players will notice some familiar assets, I gotta give it to this dev for not making hideous characters like the other games lmao. The hair is full rather than balding (no offense bald peeps, it's just that I want actual hair if I select pony tail :D), the customization is pretty awesome for this type of game, giving you a range of options to customize your investigator in depth. Bravo! Outfits are solid to start off with. Overall really happy about this feature. Those of you who played Phas know how disappointed we were with their character customization debut. For the gameplay: - YOU CAN PLAY THE GHOST?!?!?? Okay that's awesome XD I have to try asap. - Definitely got me spooked a few times. Good start there! I only did 1 hunt, and I failed it hahah. But it's alright, learning curves exist. - The dev was incredibly giving as far as stats for each ghost. Of course this is the dev's choice and I respect that, but I think the only thing I'd say about it otherwise is that discovering those more details quirks of each ghost is part of why I was able to put over 300 hours into Phas quickly. Clues about the ghost's behavior? Awesome. But I think it'd be more fun and immersive to have to figure out that certain speeds belong to certain ghosts, as well as their flicker rates and temperature behaviors. ^^ Other than that *one thing* (I know it's early access and is subject to change), this is one of the very few times I've felt excited for an up and coming ghost game since the massive saturation of the genre got lazy. This one will sit with Phas, Demonologist, and Ghost Exorcism Inc for me. All games worth playing, including this one. (The use of AI does not bother me one bit. This is a solo dev who is passionate, I can tell. I am an artist who's done work on a few games myself regarding assets, pixel games, logos, concepts etc, and though my take is "hot", I really don't think the dev deserves to be crucified for having generic AI images present despite all the labor they have put into the game/sounds/etc. Just my opinion. :) ) Definitely recommend supporting this dev and giving this game a shot. I'll update down the line with more input as I play more. Keep up the awesome work!!
Truely an awesome game pvp is fun ghost hunting is a challenge but truely an amazing game
What was that.....if it wasn't for Fey.......i would've stopped. shout out to the new homie!
I wanted to like this game because the ghost mode is honestly a lot of fun but having to re-buy all of my equipment after every single contract with my sister kind of killed all of the fun. I understand having to buy new consumables like salt but have to buy what should be permanent like the laser grid of the doll is where it got freaking ridiculous
