a. TP status cannot remove the fire/burn debuff. No quick magic list. No story guide. No detailed sort in manufacture menu and where.
16:10 resolutions dont run well. There are graphical issues. Other than that the game is ok.

Serin Fate is an imaginative indie action RPG that successfully blends creature collection, farming, crafting, exploration, and life simulation into a rich fantasy adventure. Developed by Vethergen and published by Crytivo, the game presents an expansive world where curiosity is constantly rewarded, encouraging players to forge their own path rather than simply following a linear quest. Drawing inspiration from classic role-playing games while introducing a wide variety of interconnected systems, it delivers an experience that values freedom, experimentation, and long-term progression. Although its ambitious scope occasionally reveals the limitations of a small development team, the passion behind every aspect of the game is unmistakable. The adventure begins with the destruction of the legendary Fate Stone, an event that threatens the balance of the world just as the protagonist is about to inherit magical abilities. Instead of losing hope, fragments of the shattered artifact awaken dormant powers, setting the stage for a journey to recover the missing Shards of Fate and confront the growing darkness. Along the way, players encounter memorable characters, uncover ancient mysteries, and gradually strengthen their connection to the magical world. While the storyline follows familiar fantasy themes, it remains engaging thanks to its charming presentation and the freedom it gives players to explore beyond the main objective. Exploration is one of Serin Fate's strongest qualities. The world is filled with forests, caves, hidden passages, villages, magical landmarks, and dangerous dungeons that constantly encourage players to venture off the beaten path. Secrets are tucked into nearly every region, rewarding those who carefully investigate their surroundings with valuable resources, rare equipment, and hidden lore. Rather than overwhelming players with objective markers, the game trusts them to discover its many surprises naturally, creating a satisfying sense of adventure that captures the spirit of classic exploration-driven RPGs. Combat is fast-paced and relies on a combination of melee attacks, ranged options, spellcasting, and strategic movement. As players grow stronger, they unlock a wide range of magical abilities that serve purposes far beyond combat. Magic can be used to solve environmental puzzles, gather resources, interact with the world, and access previously unreachable locations, making it an essential part of nearly every aspect of gameplay. Character growth is equally flexible, with numerous perks, skills, equipment choices, and crafting opportunities allowing players to build heroes that match their preferred playstyle. A major highlight is the Familiar system, which lets players capture and raise dozens of magical creatures encountered throughout the world. These companions are far more than simple collectibles, as they actively assist during battles and develop alongside the player. Experimenting with different Familiar combinations adds strategic variety while giving creature collectors an enjoyable progression system that complements the core RPG mechanics. Building a powerful team becomes just as rewarding as improving the main character, giving players multiple goals to pursue throughout their journey. Outside of adventuring, Serin Fate embraces peaceful life simulation elements that greatly expand its appeal. Players can establish gardens to grow ingredients, brew potions, fish in rivers and lakes, gather crafting materials, forge equipment, cook meals, decorate living spaces, and complete Witchery Guild assignments. These activities never feel disconnected from the main experience, as every resource collected and every crafted item contributes meaningfully to future exploration and combat. This steady balance between action and relaxation helps create an engaging gameplay loop that remains satisfying over extended play sessions. Visually, the game embraces colorful pixel art inspired by classic fantasy adventures while presenting detailed environments filled with personality. Every biome possesses its own distinct atmosphere, from tranquil villages to mysterious forests and dangerous underground ruins. The expressive character sprites, imaginative monster designs, and vibrant spell effects help bring the magical setting to life. Accompanied by a pleasant fantasy soundtrack, the presentation consistently reinforces the sense of embarking on a whimsical yet dangerous adventure. Despite its many strengths, Serin Fate is not without flaws. Its numerous interconnected systems can feel overwhelming for newcomers, and the lack of extensive guidance means players are expected to learn through experimentation. Some mechanics occasionally feel rough around the edges, and progression can become grind-heavy depending on individual playstyles. Inventory management and navigation may also require patience, particularly during the early hours. However, players willing to invest the time to understand its depth are rewarded with an experience that continually expands as more mechanics, locations, and abilities become available. Serin Fate stands as an impressive example of what an ambitious indie RPG can accomplish through creativity and dedication. By combining action combat, magical progression, creature collecting, farming, crafting, exploration, and life simulation into a cohesive fantasy world, it offers remarkable variety that keeps the adventure fresh from beginning to end. While its complexity and occasional rough edges may not appeal to everyone, those who enjoy discovering intricate systems and building their own adventure will likely find it both memorable and highly rewarding. It is a charming sandbox RPG that successfully delivers a deep and engaging journey for players who appreciate freedom, exploration, and meaningful progression. Rating: 7/10
