Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game sucks really hard, not intuitive at all, DP's has no idea in how to show what you should do. NO Tutorial, and the guide is a joke. How do you build troops, after two hours trying to figure it out I have no idea, barracks you may think, wrong, this game is a waist of time. Do not recommend at all.
Warning: In-Game Cash Shop This game is infested with a toxic mobile app style cash shop. You will be prompted to and expected to give money/credit card details to the developers through this cash shop to buy in-game goods so you can play the game.
"Sengoku:Battle Royal" looks and plays more like a Chinese mobile/browser scam than a real game, the only notable difference is they decided to pillage Japanese culture instead of making yet another Three Kingdoms mobile app. And this doesn't look like it was accepted on the app stores, either. It's dead, the game doesn't have 5 players online at any time to create a 5v5 match, so this also can't be played. But the cash shop is there, and that's all the developers care about. Toxic, isn't it? The graphics aren't great, simple mobile/browser iso graphics to look good in screenshots and try draw mobile gamers in. That's understandably a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. As mentioned, this isn't really free as the game is infested with mobile app store like microtransactions. This is a consumer hostile model that we don't need to see on PC. It's deceptively priced to gouge gamers, and that's a reason in itself to avoid this. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 14 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
Dead On Arrival - A Strategy Game Without Players

The Harsh Reality
🎮 Picture this: you boot up a PvP battle royale expecting matches, excitement, competition. Instead? Crickets. Sengoku:Battle Royal launched with ambitions of 5V5 strategic warfare, but the current state tells a completely different story. As of this review date, only 2 players were active in the last 24 hours. For a multiplayer PvP experience, this means the game is essentially unplayable. 💀
What Could Have Been
🎨 The concept genuinely intrigued me. A battle royale focused on strategy rather than reflexes? Playing as a daimyo commanding armies in Sengoku-era Japan? That's fresh! ⚔️ Troops fight automatically while you focus on territory control, army management, and tactical decisions. The idea deserves recognition.

✅ Unique strategy-focused battle royale concept.
✅ Automatic combat allows focus on macro-management.
✅ Interesting Sengoku period setting and theme.
✅ Can be genuinely fun with coordinated teammates.
✅ Victory rewards strategic thinking over reflexes.
✅ Game supports 10+ languages for international players.
✅ 60-minute matches allow for deep strategic play.

What Actually Is
😤 Here's where disappointment sets in. The tutorial is practically non-existent. New players receive zero proper guidance on basic mechanics like troop recruitment, building priorities, or victory conditions. You're thrown into the deep end without learning to swim. 🏊 The In-Game Cash Shop raises serious concerns about pay-to-win mechanics. When competitive advantage can be purchased, skill becomes secondary to wallet size. This fundamentally undermines the strategic foundation the game claims to build upon. 💰
The Player Count Problem
📉 Let's address the elephant in the room. A PvP battle royale needs players. This game recorded only 2 players in the last 24 hours at the time of writing this review. For a 5V5 experience requiring 10 players per match, do the math - matches simply cannot happen without artificial bots or extreme wait times. This isn't a temporary dip - this is a death spiral. ⚰️
Price Versus Value
💸 The asking price feels disconnected from reality. Paying full price for a game with no tutorial, questionable monetization, and a ghost town player base? That's a hard sell. Your money buys frustration and empty lobbies.

❌ Nearly non-existent tutorial for new players.
❌ Official beginner guide lacks crucial information.
❌ Critically low player count makes matchmaking impossible.
❌ Only 2 players active in last 24 hours for PvP game at review time.
❌ In-Game Cash Shop introduces pay-to-win concerns.
❌ Price point does not match current game value.
❌ Some technical bugs reported by community.
❌ Steep learning curve without proper guidance.
❌ 5V5 format requires 10 players - simply not available.
❌ No indication of developer support or updates.
❌ P2W mechanics undermine competitive integrity.
❌ Empty matchmaking queues waste player time.

Final Thoughts
⚖️ Sengoku:Battle Royal represents everything frustrating about early access done wrong. The foundation might have potential, but potential doesn't fill lobbies. Potential doesn't teach mechanics. Potential doesn't justify price tags. 🎭 Wait for a miracle revival or substantial price drop. Until player counts recover and monetization concerns are addressed, this remains a cautionary tale rather than a recommendation. ❌ Not Recommended - Skip This One until major improvements arrive.

It's cool, but desperately needs a tutorial. The in-game "Newbie Guide" doesn't cut it.
Online da kimse yok, botlara karşıda da kimse savaş başlatmadı, bende başlatamadım öyle mal gibi kaldık. Almayın
A poor mobile game was ported to PC and it suck, there are no tutorial for new player and poor english tranlation (like they copied the entire dialogue from the game and put it into Google Translate) some of them make no sense and confused. Used a F2P game now they switch it paid game and still have In-Game Cash Shop? A red flag show that this is P2W game. NOT recommend
