Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Selaco is a brand new original shooter inspired by classics, featuring thrilling action set pieces, destructibility, smart enemies and a fleshed out story taking place within an immersive game world. It draws inspiration heavily from F.E.A.R. in terms of action set pieces, while mixing exploration elements from Half-Life, along with some more modern features.

The story takes place during a violent invasion on Selaco, a massive space station sheltering the last refugees after Earth’s fall just a few years prior. You play as Dawn Collins, an ACE Security Captain who, with her recent promotion and high level security clearances, is digging deep into the truth behind Selaco's murky history. Before she can finish her investigation, Selaco is rocked by explosions and armed invaders.

A lengthy adventure-driven campaign
Selaco offers a massive, uninterrupted journey packed with action and atmosphere. Explore a wide range of environments in a fully connected world - no cutaways, no time jumps, just seamless momentum from start to finish.
Intense Action set pieces
Blast through your environment with impactful weapons that really leave a mark on the world. That once lavish office space, now nothing but a pile of rubble with broken paintings, smashed tables, screen, chairs, smoke, and chunks of debris.
Custom AI
Selaco’s AI was built from the ground up for dynamic, coordinated combat. Enemies communicate, flank, suppress, and adapt to your tactics - keeping pressure when you're aggressive or rushing when you're vulnerable. Hundreds of voiced lines hint at their next move, making every fight feel alive.
Full soundtrack
Selaco features an original, full-length soundtrack composed by Lawrence Steele, with over 3 hours of neon-tinged electronica spanning from high-intensity combat tracks to immersive, atmospheric soundscapes.
Adapt & Overcome
As enemies evolve and gain access to new tools, so do you. Improve your weaponry with new utility upgrades, or transform weapon behavior entirely with Weapon Kits.
Replayability
Selaco is designed with replayability in mind. Jump into Randomizer Mode to experience remixed mechanics, exclusive enemies, and fully customizable chaos. Or test your skills in Incursion Mode (coming later during Early Access), an endless survival challenge set in Deathmatch-style arenas.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Selaco is the best singleplayer shooter I have ever played. This really does not fit well into the "oldschool throwback shooter" category as there is no other game to compare this with. Don't buy this because it runs on some age old engine and does incredible stuff with it, don't buy it because it looks oldschool or whatever. Buy it, because it has well crafted, interactive and stylish environments full of details with fun and spectacular combat against smart enemies and guns that are all fun and feel good. It does a lot of stuff most "modern" singleplayer shooter games could learn from with their often steril worlds and especially their dumb, lifeless enemies. The campaign has a lot of tweaks you can make (e.g. have FOMO and don't like to be told how many secrets you missed? Turn it off, find them as you go as some random pickups without a secret counter), the gameplay and graphics menu also lets you customize a lot. The story is not in yet, but what lore can be found in the current build lets me think it will be fun to experience when it gets patched in, as I've got the feeling it can be rather sinister and intriguing. Maybe don't buy this if you like your levels to be 10 minute long non-stop run and gun sessions. This game is not that. But I don't want it to be. I'd much rather have even more unique environmental puzzles or cool areas I can look through in between the incredible gunfights. Oh, and btw if you look through the posts the devs make you can really see how much is yet to come: chapter 2 will release this year, the enemies' AI will get an improvement, lighting gets reworked to be more moody, story will get added, optimization, eventually chapter 3, who knows what else.
I love this game and can't wait for it to be complete. I mostly play FPS games and also grew up with the oldschool shooters that have a similar style as this. Part of this game is figuring out what to do/where to go (something a lot of people complain about), not just mindlessly shooting enemies. Its hard at times to know what to do exactly, no one is holding your hand or giving you orders besides the objective list.. the rest is for the player to figure out. It adds to the overall challenge and also may lead you to find some goodies too. The one thing I felt was a bit too much was the distance to move heavy barrels in one part, it was a little excessive. There is a lot of content in this game from secrets, upgrades, detailed level design and a wide variation of gameplay (exploration, shooting, solving puzzles, finding keys, etc). Bravo to the devs, keep up the good work.
Absolutely blown away at how this is made on GZDoom and for it still being early access it feels like a fully finished game. Cannot wait to see what the team comes up with as development progresses.
