Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Selaco is a brand new original shooter inspired by classics, featuring thrilling action set pieces, destructibility, smart enemies and a fleshed out story taking place within an immersive game world. It draws inspiration heavily from F.E.A.R. in terms of action set pieces, while mixing exploration elements from Half-Life, along with some more modern features.

The story takes place during a violent invasion on Selaco, a massive space station sheltering the last refugees after Earth’s fall just a few years prior. You play as Dawn Collins, an ACE Security Captain who, with her recent promotion and high level security clearances, is digging deep into the truth behind Selaco's murky history. Before she can finish her investigation, Selaco is rocked by explosions and armed invaders.

A lengthy adventure-driven campaign
Selaco offers a massive, uninterrupted journey packed with action and atmosphere. Explore a wide range of environments in a fully connected world - no cutaways, no time jumps, just seamless momentum from start to finish.
Intense Action set pieces
Blast through your environment with impactful weapons that really leave a mark on the world. That once lavish office space, now nothing but a pile of rubble with broken paintings, smashed tables, screen, chairs, smoke, and chunks of debris.
Custom AI
Selaco’s AI was built from the ground up for dynamic, coordinated combat. Enemies communicate, flank, suppress, and adapt to your tactics - keeping pressure when you're aggressive or rushing when you're vulnerable. Hundreds of voiced lines hint at their next move, making every fight feel alive.
Full soundtrack
Selaco features an original, full-length soundtrack composed by Lawrence Steele, with over 3 hours of neon-tinged electronica spanning from high-intensity combat tracks to immersive, atmospheric soundscapes.
Adapt & Overcome
As enemies evolve and gain access to new tools, so do you. Improve your weaponry with new utility upgrades, or transform weapon behavior entirely with Weapon Kits.
Replayability
Selaco is designed with replayability in mind. Jump into Randomizer Mode to experience remixed mechanics, exclusive enemies, and fully customizable chaos. Or test your skills in Incursion Mode (coming later during Early Access), an endless survival challenge set in Deathmatch-style arenas.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

This game is incredibly good, it's everything I love about the FPS genre and more, all that running on the GZDoom engine and crafted with love and care, makes AAA games look dumb and stupid in comparison... If you like fast paced, tactical and fun FPS combat it has it... If you like exploration and upgrades in metroidvania fashion it has it, if you like immersive sim elements it has them... If you like good artstyle and ambiance it has it... That being said, this is not a "boomer shooter" whatever that means, it's not because it runs on the GZDoom engine that it's a "boomer shooter", it's just a well crafted game made on the GZDoom engine as a technical and fun challenge... If you like well crafted single player experiences in the FPS genre, SELACO is clearly a game you should consider :) As of now it's still in early access but episode 1 has already a good amount of playtime for you (took me around 12 hours to finish it), episode 2 should come soon enough, I'm really eager to see this game completed, it's gonna be great...

Najlepsza gra na silniku GZDoom.
Very very good. It's obviously missing a lot of the campaign, but it is an early access title. What is there is very worth playing. Keep going, devs!
Great shooter! No jumping, manbo jambo, very tactic, nice weapons and cool story. I am not asking for more.
This game had me sold from the beginning, with this slower paced boomer shooter and tons of immersive sim DNA... But what really turned me into a giddy mess while playing was discovering that arcade the first time down in the streets... Peak. Gameplay
This is a first-class shooter that is both exceptionally clever and a tonne of fun. I've both laughed myself silly and been stressed out of my brain (in a good way). It is closest probably to Doom (both the original and the reboots) in style and pace - very fast paced, but has a tonne of influences. I've been keeping track of all of the influences and I reckon I see doom, half life, halo, quake, the Metro series, and more. The first 15 minutes is a little bit rough - early access. If you make it through the first 15 minutes you won't be able to put it down. After that you get some more ammo and tools, discover some secrets, and it really "clicks". The dev team is super communicative and pays attention to every little detail. I cannot wait to see what they do with Act 2 and beyond. Can't recommend enough. It's a pixel game but it plays like a modern shooter. Seriously, buy this before you buy anything else.
There are lots of secrets
Selaco is simply one of the best shooters I've played. It took me a while to get hang of the combat component. Especially the powerful melee aspect which makes running down an enemy a really serious option. Unlike other GZDoom shooters, Selaco really feels like it's own game. What it has in common with Doom feels like it's by design, and not (by comparison to other GZDoom shooters) by default. I particularly appreciate the moments of calm to search and explore the maps and the limited and well chosen aspects combat moments. The story and environment is also fun to discover. I have some critical thoughts as well, but I only share them because the developers seem to actually read and care about feedback: - The picture of Dawn at the end of each level doesn't match the art style in the game and feels out of place. - While I've picked up some of the story aspects a lot of the time I don't really know why I'm doing what I'm doing. It's not really a problem because I'm having fun doing it, but still. - Does Dawn talk or not? Most of the time she feels like Gordon from Half Life, but then in the cloning plant level she randomly says 'No going back now'. I think given the often quite specific goals in each level it would be nice if she talked more to tie the story together and give the player a stronger sense of purpose. - I've finished the game and, at least according to Steam achievements, less than 20% of players have gotten to the end of the game. I don't know how normal that is, but it's a shame because it's lots of fun. I wonder if it would be a better idea to release chapter 2 and 3 as their own games because it would allow players to jump back on board even if they didn't get through the last chapter (and the first chapter really feels like a full game in it's own right). If you felt you owed it to early access buyers, you could always just give them chapter 2 and 3 for free as an acknowledgement that they thought they were going to get it in the original purchase. - I've gotten through the game fine and the puzzles aren't too hard to figure out, but I wonder if a lot of players would appreciate if there was an option where the game held your hand a bit more to walk you through some of the puzzles.
What a pleasent surprise this game is. A real retro FPS but feels modern. The campaign is awesome and they are adding a lot more to this game over time. Must buy for FPS fans.
wowowowowow felt like a doom x halo style gameplay with a half-life story/theme cannot wait to play more as it gets developed further
