Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Selaco is a brand new original shooter inspired by classics, featuring thrilling action set pieces, destructibility, smart enemies and a fleshed out story taking place within an immersive game world. It draws inspiration heavily from F.E.A.R. in terms of action set pieces, while mixing exploration elements from Half-Life, along with some more modern features.

The story takes place during a violent invasion on Selaco, a massive space station sheltering the last refugees after Earth’s fall just a few years prior. You play as Dawn Collins, an ACE Security Captain who, with her recent promotion and high level security clearances, is digging deep into the truth behind Selaco's murky history. Before she can finish her investigation, Selaco is rocked by explosions and armed invaders.

A lengthy adventure-driven campaign
Selaco offers a massive, uninterrupted journey packed with action and atmosphere. Explore a wide range of environments in a fully connected world - no cutaways, no time jumps, just seamless momentum from start to finish.
Intense Action set pieces
Blast through your environment with impactful weapons that really leave a mark on the world. That once lavish office space, now nothing but a pile of rubble with broken paintings, smashed tables, screen, chairs, smoke, and chunks of debris.
Custom AI
Selaco’s AI was built from the ground up for dynamic, coordinated combat. Enemies communicate, flank, suppress, and adapt to your tactics - keeping pressure when you're aggressive or rushing when you're vulnerable. Hundreds of voiced lines hint at their next move, making every fight feel alive.
Full soundtrack
Selaco features an original, full-length soundtrack composed by Lawrence Steele, with over 3 hours of neon-tinged electronica spanning from high-intensity combat tracks to immersive, atmospheric soundscapes.
Adapt & Overcome
As enemies evolve and gain access to new tools, so do you. Improve your weaponry with new utility upgrades, or transform weapon behavior entirely with Weapon Kits.
Replayability
Selaco is designed with replayability in mind. Jump into Randomizer Mode to experience remixed mechanics, exclusive enemies, and fully customizable chaos. Or test your skills in Incursion Mode (coming later during Early Access), an endless survival challenge set in Deathmatch-style arenas.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

This is probably the best "boomer shooter" I've played. Everything about combat is so satisfying and enjoyable. I've spent an unbelievable amount of time trying to find secrets, which I generally only do if I really like the game. Even though more is coming down the pipeline there's already so much content and every aspect of gameplay has good depth. The story thus far is interesting and likes to keep things close to the chest, slowly revealing more over time. All of this aside from how technologically impressive the game is. Can't even imagine how good the game will be at full release. Also, since I see it mentioned in reviews a lot I figured I would mention it as well. A lot of people drag on the level design and say they get lost often but I straight up haven't had this problem. Maybe it's the experience I have playing games of this genre but despite the more open level design the whole experience has felt pretty linear outside of exploration. The only issue I've had in this regard is difficulty finding secrets but that's kind of the point.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT WAS JUST CHAPTER 1?!?
Great game, but a slow burn. Enemies turn up in greater number quite late. The shootouts are challeging.
Visceral, satisfying, and just plain *exciting* in a way that most shooters just...aren't. Fun from the start, but INCREDIBLY fun when you start to master the combat, which is taught masterfully through the design of the game and the slow ramping up of difficulty. Also, for fans of awesome FPS movement - the slide jumping is just great - nearly as fun as the kick boosting from Cultic.
Where do I even start I love this game through and through. To me this is not only a modern day indie classic, but should be recognized a classic in any regard hoping to see more from the game in case of updates and more from these devs!
THIS GAME IS FANTASTIC
Yes, I'm only a few hours in but of all the "boomer shooters" I've played, I don't think I've fallen in love with one so quickly before. I knew how I felt in the first ten minutes and I feel the same way after two hours of play. I don't think that calling it a "boomer shooter" even really does it justice because while they probably chose the GZDoom engine for the aesthetics, I think they also chose it for its versalility as this game has a lot of modern gameplay mechanics, graphical flourishings, etc despite being superficially retro. I think the engine choice allowed them to cram a lot more into the game that deepens the experience so it in no way feels like a creative constraint and rather something that allowed them to fully realize their vision. It looks great, sounds great, plays phenomenally, and sucks you right in. I'd rather play this over a generic AAA campaign any day of the week. The combat is chunky and viseral, it plays a bit like a tactical shooter with enemies using FEAR-style AI to flank you and the environments are extremely responsive to combat with loads and loads of interactivity when not in combat. When you're in a firefight, environmental detail gets ripped apart, enemies bark orders at each other and start flanking, smoke and shockwaves fill the corridors, alarms blare etc. It's insanely immersive and entertaining. The music accompanies the action and atmosphere perfectly, the weapons look and feel great, the tutorials are solid (do read them -- tips like following green lights to not get lost are crucial), the story and level flow cribs from all the greats and the total package is top notch. Even if you don't like retro aesthetics but you do like fast paced shooters, I'd still strongly recommend it. 9.5/10
I'm halfway through the game on the easiest difficulty and the fights don't feel remotely fair. The worst is I spend almost all of my time lost.
Eh.... Played it for about an hour on the hard difficulty and saw absolutely nothing even close to the trailer. No music, simple repetitive combat, and ammo was hard to find. The artstyle seems to be a weird Anime-adjacent artstyle that I don't like at all, and overall in my time playing I was just bored. Nothing special, nothing really cool, just a shooter I got lost in... A lot. Guns are nice, but the game just didn't hook me. Maybe if I gave it enough time it would start to get better, but so far it's given no indication of that. Also I don't really know what's going on with the difficulty, On the 2nd to highest mode (Assuming it's supposed to be very hard or just hard) One or 2 shots deals 30 damage and I die almost instantly. but if I go one difficulty down it's mind numbingly easy.

Great fun. Exploration is great, the aesthetic is tight. Controls are wonderful. Finding the secrets is a fun activity. Love the soundtrack. I'm enjoying my time with this game.
