Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Selaco is a brand new original shooter inspired by classics, featuring thrilling action set pieces, destructibility, smart enemies and a fleshed out story taking place within an immersive game world. It draws inspiration heavily from F.E.A.R. in terms of action set pieces, while mixing exploration elements from Half-Life, along with some more modern features.

The story takes place during a violent invasion on Selaco, a massive space station sheltering the last refugees after Earth’s fall just a few years prior. You play as Dawn Collins, an ACE Security Captain who, with her recent promotion and high level security clearances, is digging deep into the truth behind Selaco's murky history. Before she can finish her investigation, Selaco is rocked by explosions and armed invaders.

A lengthy adventure-driven campaign
Selaco offers a massive, uninterrupted journey packed with action and atmosphere. Explore a wide range of environments in a fully connected world - no cutaways, no time jumps, just seamless momentum from start to finish.
Intense Action set pieces
Blast through your environment with impactful weapons that really leave a mark on the world. That once lavish office space, now nothing but a pile of rubble with broken paintings, smashed tables, screen, chairs, smoke, and chunks of debris.
Custom AI
Selaco’s AI was built from the ground up for dynamic, coordinated combat. Enemies communicate, flank, suppress, and adapt to your tactics - keeping pressure when you're aggressive or rushing when you're vulnerable. Hundreds of voiced lines hint at their next move, making every fight feel alive.
Full soundtrack
Selaco features an original, full-length soundtrack composed by Lawrence Steele, with over 3 hours of neon-tinged electronica spanning from high-intensity combat tracks to immersive, atmospheric soundscapes.
Adapt & Overcome
As enemies evolve and gain access to new tools, so do you. Improve your weaponry with new utility upgrades, or transform weapon behavior entirely with Weapon Kits.
Replayability
Selaco is designed with replayability in mind. Jump into Randomizer Mode to experience remixed mechanics, exclusive enemies, and fully customizable chaos. Or test your skills in Incursion Mode (coming later during Early Access), an endless survival challenge set in Deathmatch-style arenas.

Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Reviews
If this game ended development today, I would say that it's too short for the price, but that it's fun while it lasts. Since the development team seems to be going at a steady pace with an eye to the future, I expect it to be excellent value by the time it reaches a full release, with early access providing a great opportunity to see the game grow and provide feedback. As someone who never played classic shooters like the early Doom games, I don't share in the nostalgia that this game likely evokes, but I've played through Chapter One (the only chapter available as of this review) twice now, and I would say that it's one of my favorite single-player shooters of all time. I did have a few negative experiences, ranging from things that were entirely my fault (losing a lot of progress after forgetting to save and then dying in a fight) to things that are a part of the genre (having minor anxiety about remembering to come back to locked doors once I have a key) to things that I would blame on the game (losing track of how to progress and wandering the map for an hour). I wouldn't count the first against this game, and I've seen updates that help with most of the complaints I have in the third category. There were a few puzzles that frustrated me for a bit, but for the most part they were optional content, as were the doors that I had to backtrack to unlock. This game has great content for both the 'uptime' and 'downtime' moments. Whenever I got in a fight, I felt like my skill was being challenged, and thanks to the way the game is tuned, I never felt over-full of resources or like I was resource-starved. Fights tend to be hectic in a good way, forcing you to rush around the space and switch between weapons as needed, while still allowing you to use the environment to form chokepoints or lure enemies into mines or grenades. In between fights, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the game incentivizes you to explore the map to get weapon upgrade materials and more health/armor and ammo. As I said above, the game is currently a strong but short experience for the price, but with the expectation of future development, it's definitely worth keeping an eye on.

Most satisfying FPS game I've ever played, punchy as hell with good AI that provides a satisfying challenge.
game goes hard. if you like F.E.A.R., classic DOOM, system shock, or any games in that vein, this game does what those do well and so much more. the game has a weirdly comforting atmosphere with such addictive gunfights that i kept coming back for like a month or two until i beat chapter one (the only one available in the current early access state). the gunfights are SUPER dynamic; they almost feel like pvp gunfights because of how unpredictably aggressive the AI can be in certain circumstances. the hard difficulty is great because it humbled me and forced me to adjust my approach, which led me to playing the game in a much more enjoyable way. i would've been perfectly satisfied if the game was just chapter one at the price i paid, but they're projected to come out with a chapter two (and a full remaster of chapter one) at the end of this year! i usually avoid early access, but i've been pleasantly surprised with selaco. they made a great game that just so happens to be getting even more content in the future; that's how early access should be.
The game is a work of love, down to the esoteric level design that, half the time, makes me open a guide just to not waste more than an hour trying to figure out. I'm in shock at how much detail is in the game. I get slapped really hard at the worst of times on Capt. difficulty alone but I got through it in the game's purest form and then went again with custom options. The most impressive bit of this is that all the content this early access game has crammed into GZDoom. I hope that chapter 2 comes out soon, getting blueballed by the final level didn't really leave a good taste in my mouth and I wanted to fight "it" so badly.
Finished the first chapter, for an early access, it is.. Substantial! This is one of the best Action FPS ive ever played and im hard to impress. The enemy AI, weapons, movement and combat mechanics are top notch, though it does suffer from weapon cannibalism (i found the SMGs useless for example, they share ammo with the Assault Rifle). That alone would be enough for a good Action FPS, but its the soundtrack, ambience and environmental design; a sleek and immersive Cyberpunk environment, full of lively follie and SFX, topped with pumping garage, house and melodic bass music with cerebral ambient electronica, this game is exploration heavy and the environment and music make exploration and simply sucking in the atmosphere an absolute treat. The Mall was my absolute favorite environment. I recommend to anyone who likes a hardcore action FPS, but also people who just enjoy vibing in atmospheric 3d environments. 9/10, i'm holding out that extra 1 for the full release.
This game is incredible. Just incredible! Already makes my top ten shooters of all time. I loved Ion Fury, but this is what I wanted it to be! The combat is SO GOOD, what they have done with the ZGDoom engine is pure magic. The tone, the art style, the feel of the guns. It's also incredibly customizable to suit your tastes and play style. Not to mention how moddable it is! It already has some incredible mods including all the levels from the GBA Duke Nukem which on their own in this game are better than most other retro shooters! And it's STILL in early access!!! And the devs are super responsive and engaging with the community! Don't hesitate, just BUY THIS GAME! Can not wait for more chapters and for the games story to be fleshed out more. My only complaints are that I wish Dawn talked more (and that is coming according to the devs), and I wished the enemies were 3D models, but they looks o good it barely matters (and the engine probably is the barrier to achieving that anwyay)
VOTO: 9/10
Good: Graphics, visual and sound design Bad: game design These levels remind me of the worst Thief 1 levels - they are amateurish to the core. Whoever thought it would be fun to pull heavy barrels to solve mandatory story puzzles (and not in a half life 2 way, but garbage inconvenient way) should never touch game design ever again. up dev responded and promises to fix some of barrel pushing sections
What happens when you throw Ion Fury, System Shock and Doom 2016 in a blender? You get this bizarre, but satisfying boomer shooter. Nice fast paced gameplay, soundtrack and design. Can't wait for the whole thing.
