I don't know if I'm just the wrong type of person for this game, but I didn't really like it. The concept interested me a lot, but in practice it was just a lot of menu clicking and reading. A lot of the info you get is irrelevant or not super interesting, and I feel like I was just waiting until the final section of info got revealed, which basically tells you everything and can completely turn your decisions on their head. Still, for $3 I did enjoy it for what it was, and found the stories relatively interesting, until it got to the end of the first section,
which is essentially a lecture about not treating people badly when you don't know much about them. The game obviously thinks it is very important and meaningful, (at least enough to sit on a high horse and talk down at the player about their choices) but in practice I wasn't super moved by anything. I felt things, for sure, but I wouldn't consider it a huge emotional experience. Cool idea, and not bad given how cheap it is, but getting lectured by a game that thinks it's more important than it is, is not really my cup of tea. I think letting the experience of the game speak for itself would have made the whole thing sit much better with me - I was enjoying the game and its message, until I got to that part, which annoyed me so much that I still haven't gotten around to finishing it.
But hey, it's only $3 - if I could give a 'meh' review, I would. But ultimately I can't recommend it, so I have to go with the thumbs down.

The game is short and highly opinionated in its descriptions. It also follows the woke gender religion. If it wasn't for that I would have considered not returning the game due to the low price point. However I will not waste even 2 dollars supporting woke proselytizing.
All tho short this game was neat! pretty fun. the world building was really interesting, it made me ask questions and want to know more.
Really well crafted experience, one of the few games to ever make me feel guilty in an action after learning new information. While I get where most of the negative reviews are coming from, I just don't agree. The slowness of progress bars and repeated confirmations forces you to sit and face your choices. While some twist may be predictable, they still all provided good emotion and an interesting story. The lack of being able to change choices after an experiment is complete may hinder future replays, but that would go against the entire message of the game. Making your choices, living with the consequences, even if it mean having "second thoughts". Having all your actions be final makes it so much more immersive and impactful This has my very excited to see what Terminal will have in store for us.
