This became way deeper than I thought it would be, and at the time of this review there are three experiments, which each put a unique spin on things. It's also incredibly cheap, definitely worth your time.
I like this style of game but unfortunately this one is a bit too nonsensical for me to recommend it.
The game is boring, slow, and attempts to guilt the player as the main emotional focal of the game. The characters are bland, and because of the games structuring, you may as well kill all of them in order, but since it's so slow and boring, why bother? Overall, it's a trash game.

Essentially a collection of notepad files that reveal more and more information about everyone each time you execute someone. It pretends like there are consequences to your decisions but there are none except for a greyed out name and your personal feelings if you have any. Most of the information doesn't really matter all that much because once almost everyone's dead the final text chunks are the ones that reveal the true actions/personality of an individual, and if the truth is the opposite of what you thought I don't really think there was a way to deduce it. Tries to be a bit deep about itself, doesn't really work though. On the plus side you get to kill a child. First time playthrough: 55 minutes 5/10
More of a thought experiment than an actual game. The problem is the subjects who are waiting to be executed are just bland and others shouldn't be there at all so it makes seem silly. Then there are the plot twists you can see coming a mile away. It's only 2 dollars so YMMV
* Horrible full-screen pattern that consistently triggers epilepsy if you don't squint, and can't be disabled * None of the subjects really deserve execution and I think more than one are innocent, so what's the lesson? * You immediately get the gist and it never really goes anywhere * The sessions are punctuated with badly-written cringe such as; "Unfortunately the decision is the one you can't undo" or something * When you've gotten down to one survivor, it's just over. No more context, no taste of consequence You're meant to feel guilty and thoughtful for condemning desperate/innocent people to death but you're basically being arbitrarily misled the whole time, so you're not even responsible - the psychos who make you blindly execute loads of people are. The only lesson here is the idiocy of capital punishment but the game leans on more nebulous morals. I'm not even going to play part two. I got nothing out of it. You might, I guess. At least I appreciate that it's a modest experimental game.
Never saw a so immoral game. Don't buy it
Creative idea, but can be better designed. The plot is rather boring or predictable. Beside, looking at a dark, green/red/purple screen for a long time really hurt my eyes lol.
You can't speed up the text, or instantly display it, so it's a bit painful to wait for it to appear.
