For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Season Match 2 is a casual fantasy puzzle game developed by URSE Games and published by ESDigital Games. As a sequel to the original Season Match, the game continues the series’ blend of match-three gameplay, light adventure storytelling, and relaxing puzzle mechanics. Released initially in the late 2000s and later made available on digital platforms such as Steam, the title is clearly designed for players who enjoy accessible puzzle games with colorful visuals and a whimsical narrative backdrop. Rather than attempting to reinvent the match-three formula, Season Match 2 focuses on expanding the first game’s structure by introducing more levels, additional puzzle variations, and a wider variety of mini-games that help diversify the overall experience. The story unfolds in a magical kingdom where the natural cycle of the seasons has been disrupted. A villain known as Prince January has used powerful magic to plunge the entire realm into an endless winter, freezing landscapes and trapping the land in icy stillness. With the balance of nature broken, it becomes the player’s task to assist the Snow Queen and the Princesses of the Seasons in restoring harmony. Through a journey across enchanted castles, snowy forests, and mystical lands, players gradually uncover magical artifacts that help counteract the prince’s spell. While the narrative remains simple and fairytale-like, it provides a charming context for the puzzles and gives players a sense of progression as they advance through the adventure. At the heart of the game lies its match-three puzzle system, which forms the primary gameplay loop. Each level presents a board filled with colorful gems and magical symbols that players must swap in order to create matches of three or more identical items. When a match is formed, the tiles disappear and new pieces fall into place, often creating cascading chain reactions that clear additional sections of the board. The core mechanics are extremely easy to understand, making the game accessible to newcomers and casual players who may not be familiar with more complex puzzle systems. Despite its simplicity, the mechanic remains satisfying thanks to the visual feedback and rhythmic flow of successful matches. The objectives within these puzzle stages vary slightly, helping prevent the gameplay from becoming too repetitive. Some levels require players to remove layers of ice that cover certain tiles, symbolizing the frozen curse affecting the kingdom. Other stages involve collecting specific items hidden within the board or clearing paths for special artifacts. As players progress further into the campaign, the puzzle layouts become more intricate and obstacles appear more frequently, requiring greater attention and planning. While the game rarely becomes extremely difficult, later stages do introduce moments where players must think carefully about how to create larger matches or trigger chain reactions in order to complete objectives efficiently. Season Match 2 also attempts to add variety by incorporating other types of gameplay segments between puzzle levels. Hidden-object scenes occasionally appear, challenging players to search for specific items scattered throughout detailed fantasy environments. These segments slow down the pace of the game and encourage observation rather than quick decision-making. In addition to these scenes, the game includes a collection of mini-games that present different kinds of challenges such as pattern recognition, object arrangement, or small logic puzzles. While these diversions are relatively simple, they help break up the main puzzle structure and keep the overall experience from feeling overly repetitive. Another element that adds a sense of progression is the artifact system. As players advance through the story, they collect magical artifacts tied to the seasonal guardians. These artifacts can provide helpful bonuses during puzzle stages, such as clearing additional tiles or assisting with difficult obstacles. Although these bonuses do not fundamentally change the mechanics of the game, they provide small strategic advantages that become useful during more complex levels. Collecting these items also reinforces the narrative theme of restoring the natural order of the seasons. The visual presentation of Season Match 2 embraces a bright and colorful fantasy aesthetic that complements its fairytale storyline. Puzzle boards sparkle with vibrant jewels and enchanted objects, while background scenes depict magical castles, snowy landscapes, and whimsical environments frozen under Prince January’s spell. While the graphical detail is relatively modest by modern standards, the artwork has a cheerful and inviting style that suits the casual nature of the game. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, ensuring that players can quickly understand objectives and focus on solving puzzles without unnecessary distractions. The game’s audio design contributes to its relaxing atmosphere. Light, melodic background music accompanies the puzzle stages, creating a calm and pleasant ambiance that fits well with the game’s casual tone. Sound effects emphasize each successful match with soft chimes and magical flourishes, reinforcing the sense of satisfaction when clearing sections of the board. While the soundtrack may become somewhat repetitive during longer play sessions, it effectively supports the game’s whimsical theme and maintains a relaxing mood. Despite its charm, Season Match 2 does not significantly deviate from the traditional match-three formula. Many of the puzzles follow familiar patterns, and experienced players of the genre may find the gameplay somewhat predictable after extended sessions. The difficulty curve remains relatively gentle, which is ideal for casual audiences but may feel less challenging for players seeking deeper puzzle mechanics. Additionally, while the inclusion of mini-games and hidden-object sequences adds variety, these segments are fairly simple and do not dramatically change the overall gameplay structure. Nevertheless, the game succeeds in delivering exactly what it intends to be: a relaxing and approachable puzzle adventure with a fantasy theme. Its accessible mechanics, cheerful presentation, and steady progression make it easy to enjoy in short sessions or as a lighthearted gaming experience. Players who appreciate casual puzzle games will likely find the journey through the frozen kingdom enjoyable, even if the mechanics remain familiar. Overall, Season Match 2 offers a pleasant continuation of the series’ puzzle formula. Its combination of match-three gameplay, magical storytelling, and occasional side activities creates an experience that is both relaxing and entertaining. While it may not introduce major innovations to the genre, it provides a polished and charming puzzle adventure that appeals to fans of casual fantasy games. Rating: 6/10

fun except for the "boss" fights. don't care for twitch mechanics
