High-octane action and anime aesthetics collide in this arcade racing game, featuring fighting mechanics and a storyline that hits hard. In this world, some race for glory while others seek power or revenge. Every race is a fight and every battle is personal.

Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 3.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Mysterious tech that changed racing forever: the ECHO.
Thanks to it, cars don’t just race – they fight! Push them past the edge again and again. Among the various game modes, you’ll find Team Races where crossing the finish line is just as important as taking down your opponents, while in others, the key is staying in Overdrive for as long as possible. Prove you’re the best no matter what challenge stands in your way, as well as online and in split-screen mode!

Um ótimo jogo de corrida estilo arcade, com visuais fascinantes, mecanicamente engajante e com uma história melhor do que a média para jogos desse gênero. Confesso que gostaria muito de um DLC ou sequência expandindo a história e os personagens.
One of the most fun, exciting racing games I've played in terms of gameplay. Every moment feels so engaging and exciting- the interplay between Sync, Entropy, Active Shifting, and so on- fantastic. I played the game on the "Challenge focus" with medium-difficulty AI, and it felt just about perfect in terms of challenge. The story is alright- definitely kept me entertained for most of the Tournament mode, and there were at least some surprising twist and turns. I personally enjoyed most of the characters and the English voice acting (much of the voice acting is in other languages, sorta like Tekken, which I'm pretty neutral on). I will say, if the story continues, it has a lot of potential! Unfortunately, I type this as I'm trying to finding a Ranked Team Race online and so far I've had no luck. So I guess the online isn't active or working, and maybe the only way to find people to play with is online. That's a shame, and hopefully I can at least play with my friends who also own the game- Regardless, I definitely don't regret this purchase thanks to all the fun I had with the Tournament mode, though I might recommend getting it on sale like I did.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This game is so so good. In a world where arcade racing is pretty much limited to Forza Horizon and indie titles, this is something that actually feels very well developed and polished, as well unique and interesting. This game is such a breath of fresh air in this stale fart of a genre. This game takes risks, has a well written story (just get passed the 1st prologue chapter, I promise) and well thought out combat mechanics with driver passives that will have you actually playing differently base on which character you choose to play as. The gameplay is solid but it does take some adjusting to since it handles pretty differently from any other racing game I've played. The best I could compare it to is Redout with the twin analogue steering. The balance between drifting and fighting, as well as the active shift mechanic really add a lot of depth to the races that I enjoy. Having the team races not just be decided by placement but also total knockouts is a fantastic idea, as the race for first is just as important as the chaos of the pack and its tendency to turn into a meat grinder. The soundtrack kicks ass, lots of varying genres with songs that feel like they fit the characters well. Anaconda Corp is particularly interesting to pay attention to, I feel like they real have that sinister vibe that gives a little hint to each characters true intentions. This game deserves so much better than it got. I know $80 is too high, I waited til the deluxe went for $50 and thought that was fair. The quality is so good, I just pray that there's enough interest and buzz for a sequel for them to take another stab at it. Act 3 is wild, I NEED a follow up.
In my honest opinion, this game's nailed fecking everything. The characters, the story, physics, tracks, overly complex controls, sense of speed, soundtrack, vehicle desing, aesthetics... Man, I genuinely thought I'd never see another good arcade racing game that wasn't a kart racer, like, ever again
Screamer blares forth with shrieking engines and a high-octane campaign... but doesn't have enough staying power to keep itself in the race. What drew me to this game was the anime vibes, the corporate cyberpunk narrative, and the sheer coolness of just drifting whenever. The art direction is top notch, and the fact that each character is fully voice acted, has their own theme music and unique car, goes to show that Milestone wanted to create something that had unmistakeable pizzazz. The gameplay at its core is quite fun to get the hang of, though you will struggle at first. You'll go banging into walls as you get adjusted to the twin stick drifting, or you'll just straight up explode the first time you learn how Overdrive works. What I did is intersperse the main campaign episodes with an arcade race so I could get the hang of the game more quickly. Speaking of that campaign, it's good but extremely linear. The point of a tournament arc as the main driving force of a campaign with unique teams is that you want each team to have a fair shot at winning. But I think due to budget constraints, they had to focus more strongly on the Green Reapers. They tried their best to highlight the other teams and their personal narratives too, though. But for the ending... without spoiling anything, besides a grand reveal, it feels rushed and any more interesting plot developments are left for a potential sequel. At the ending of the campaign, I also paused for a moment. Did I want to dive into the multiplayer? Become a Screamer Legend? And that's when I realized that I was rather full and I'd gotten my fill. I don't know if Screamer is worth the 60 euro price tag, but it was a fun experience while it lasted.
This is a rare gem that deserves more attention than it gets.
In an age where most racing games are open world festival themed or closed circuit simulations, Screamer 2026 is a breath of fresh air in the genre. Is the story perfect, no but it hooks you in to see it through to completion. The cars in-game do have recognizable shapes to those who are automotive enthusiasts so that's a plus. The tracks are an interesting mix to choose from (ie: urban, forested, industrial, sci-fi). There are unlockables that are done through the old fashioned way (concept art, soundtracks, additional car skins) that adds to the replay value. Would I recommend purchasing it? I'd suggest trying the demo out first, then maybe wait for a sale as $60-$70 is a big ask in this day and age.
Honestly this is one of the most infuriating arcade racers that I've played barring Burnout Paradise but for completely different reasons, since it's good, but it's this close, THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS CLOSE to being great and we've been STAAAAAARVED for actual arcade racers which may introduce some heavy dose of bias but we'll take every win we can make cuz HOLY CRAP CAN WE STOP GETTING SIMS FOR 5 SECONDS? First the unambiguously good: - Mostly the music slaps, especially the Hex Archive tracks but Torba's are also pretty good, though it drops the ball on the secret characters. - FERMI Now the subjective: - The focus on story is hit on miss depending on your preferences, I myself really like anime nonsense and got hooked cuz I'm used to reading visual novels and has some ACTUALLY VERY GOOD CHARACTERS with Noboru Sato and Gabriel and I desperately want a sequel cuz I just want to know *what the hell they're planning next* but a lot of people will probably not care about it or actively dislike it. Now I will proceed to nitpick the HELL out of this game cuz *I LIKE YOU AND I WANT TO SEE YOU DO BETTER YOU CAN DO BETTER SCREAMER YOU HAVE THE FOUNDATION* - The driving: Twin-stick driving has been done before and while serviceable they made the weird decision of your left stick adjusting the drift angle instead of your strafing like Inertial Drift, so if you got used to that control scheme it's gonna be a hell of a problem with your muscle memory and makes it feel a lot more of a gimmick than an actual thought out mechanic. Also outside of overdrive and Frederic there is almost no penalty for grinding on the walls. - The vehicular combat: kinda tacked on, I didn't really enjoy that you can only get takedowns with the boost when the whole premise sound like it would be better to have a bit more Burnout DNA in forms of takedowns and you would expect there to be a better damage model for being such an aggressive game, but the most you'll see is spoilers flying around. HOWEVER Overdrive is actually well implemented due to being both high risk and high reward. - You're already halfway anime WHY NOT COMMIT TO THE BIT COMPLETELY WITH YOUR IN-GAME 3D MODELS THAT'S WHAT ALSO INFURIATED ME ABOUT NFS UNBOUND. - The story itself I found reasonable enjoyable but the *structure* is a mess jumping between all the characters on a single timeline when it really feels like it would have improved by dividing it into like 4 or 5 simultaneous shorter campaigns that each complement bits and pieces regarding the story revelations and beats and the tournament itself feeling like an afterthought cuz there is no real in-story scoreboard to get an idea on where things are progressing. - After completely the story theres....what exactly? Multiplayer? Dead. Arcade? Not enough modes and honestly feels a bit tacked on with some VERY weird difficulty mismatchs depending on the character because they really feel that they are designed and balanced for team races and not free for alls, (bro you could have put at least drifting events when your whole shtick is drifting) - The shortcuts are a joke and tacked on, either they invalidate a lot of the track leaving you in such ridiculous advantage or just plain aren't faster than the main track even when they're harder to enter. - Biggest nitpick. PLEASE LET PEOPLE MAKE A CUSTOM UNIVERSAL PLAYLIST YOUR MUSIC IS GOOD BUT IT GETS REPETITIVE TO HEAR THE SAME 3 TRACKS PER TEAM.
This game was outside of my comfort zone. Racing game, with VN delivery of story and anime aesthetic. But man this game was good. I'm not much of a competitive guy let alone for racing games but even if I only played the Tournament I can wholeheartedly recommend this game. The feeling of learning how to actually drive a specific character's car feels very nice despite me not liking some of them very much. My favorites are Naboru, Hiroshi and Hina since they're all decent enough at drifting and active shifting which all scratches an itch similar to parrying and perfect dodges in action games. The twin stick steering/drifting was also quite neat personally. I haven't played racing games too much to have any point of comparison but what I can say is it gives every car their own identity in handling. Some cars have good left stick steering but lose a ton of speed when drifting, some likes to drift a lot, sharp turns almost always needs both, those sorts of things. It all felt nice and racing never felt like a chore throughout my 20 hours playing the tournament. Difficulty is quite steep though. Initially i went for "challenge" mode but had to bring it down at some point since it's taking me like an hour just to get through a single stage. Balanced actually feels balanced. There's still some parts that were kinda difficult like having to use a character like Roisin or Akane which im not too good at using to achieve either time attack or 1st place on tracks that are also filled with weird turns and curves. I'd recommend for anyone playing first time for the "Balanced" difficulty since i can imagine story would make the game boring since you don't have to learn or master anything.
