Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Scanner Sombre is a tense 3d horror cave exploration game where oppressive darkness becomes your greatest enemy. The silence, broken only by echoes and hesitant footsteps, builds chilling tension, while the unseen unknown keeps you on edge. Blending psychological horror with discovery, it challenges you to navigate a hidden world lit by a LIDAR scanner. From the creators of Prison Architect, this immersive adventure uses light and shadow to craft a hauntingly beautiful yet terrifying experience.

In Scanner Sombre, the LIDAR scanner is your lifeline. Armed with this innovative tool, you reveal the unseen by casting light into the abyss, slowly mapping the cave around you. As the silence presses in, and shadows twist, the scanner’s color-coded beams uncover hidden dangers and untold mysteries lurking in the dark.

Scanner Sombre features a striking visual style built around vibrant, rainbow-colored point clouds, inspired by industrial LIDAR scans. Players use a handheld scanner to gradually reveal the environment, with color-coded points helping to perceive depth. This distinctive, inhuman aesthetic creates an eerie atmosphere and enhances the exploration experience.

In Scanner Sombre, the story unfolds subtly through the environment, with hints of forgotten histories hidden within the cave. As you explore, remnants of the past, strange symbols, and eerie remnants suggest a deeper, darker narrative. Each step forward invites you to unravel the mysteries bit by bit.

amazing game!
Very fun game, kind of lost my mind at the visuals for it in the best way! I love that it's a little spooky a little exciting, a little adventure-y! I think I had 3 different moments where I actually got chills, so excellent job on that game team!! TLDR: Well worth the full price and very fun to play!
the game and story are really pretty. but man was hoping NG+ would add nuance to the story.

This does not feel like a final release. There's visual oddities like the mapping isn't finished around water and for a walking sim I get stuck quite a lot just when walking, needs some player clipping here and there. It would be fine if I would just get stuck but then the character does this up down movement that shakes the camera and it's annoying to experience every minute. I am also walking through walls and ceiling brushes sticking out. This would be fine if it wasn't part of the gameplay, as I got stuck before the big scanner (B bind) because the path to my left did not look traversable, like I could fit, but I did. I also fell through what looked like a brush big enough to fit me near an edge. The visuals just don't match the actual space given, despite me covering the surface with enough sparklies. The intended sound glitches are not as cool as the team is hoping to be, just annoying. Hard to tell how I die besides falling, cus it's so hard to see. In general it is too hard on the eye. When it's a full bright scan it looks really good but that's about it. It's just a proof of concept. Due to how tedious it is to see, the game should not make it this hard to figure out where to go. I accidentally went back and realized it as things seemed somewhat familiar and checked the map to confirm. That was the last straw. Keep working at it?...
Some kind of weird audio-visual acid trip that makes no sense to me at least
Scanner Sombre is a bite-sized game that is meant to be played in a sitting, and oh what a snack it is! I just finished my first playthrough. Despite feeling very relaxed, the game made me feel lonely, lost, scared, and finally sad. I was curious the entire time. The sound design and soundtrack were compelling. Some very original ideas were present in its design, giving me a memorable experience. I recommend playing in the dark between 2 AM to 4 AM just like I did. I will definitely revisit this one.
Pretty cool game, I will say a few quick things; 1. This is basically a walking simulator so if you don´t like those types of games maybe you should not buy it. 2. The duration of the game is very short (I finished it in 3 hrs but i think you could do it in 2) 3. There isn´t a lot of mechanics; you move, you use the scanner to find the way and that´s pretty much it. 4. Besides the idea of using the scanner, the other strong point of the game is the story, which is not that complicated or long but i liked what they did (there´s a bit of a plot twist in the end, altough some could argue it was pretty obvious). Over all I enjoyed the game, personally I think is one of those examples that you can make something interesting even if you don´t have a lot of tools, still I guess they could have added a bit more but in the end I am satisfied. 8.5/10
A nice and short horror experience with an interesting main mechanic, tho a bit buggy.
