Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

This one is damn good, better than 'II' version in story and stage, but for battle mechanic, 'II' version still better. But for me, it's not worth to cut 75% stage just for better mechanic. If you do not know which version to choose from all SW4 series, this version what you really need. Have all stage, almost no re use stage for another 'legend story' like 4-II did and all character feel more alive, even the writting is still better than 4-II that says: ' more focus to one character'.
そういえば、戦国無双4empiresのPC版はもう出ないでしょうか。三国無双empiresも戦国無双empiresも好きなので、販売されていたら購入したいです。

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 3: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is the definitive experience available to you as a Steam user for the Samurai Warriors series. The Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends if you will. I've heard some people say there's no post game but I think that's where your chronicle mode comes into play. If you're looking for a more JP themed "historic" musuo then this is your title. If you don't really care and you want a musuo you can play for hours I'd personally recommend Dynasty Warriors 8 before playing the Sam Warriors series. There is overall just more to do, but that's not to say that this game is lacking. There is plenty to do and if you prefer the exaggerated Japanese Daimyo over the Romance of the Three Kingdoms then this is your game. P.S. STAY AWAY FROM SAMURAI WARRIORS 5 IT MAY BE NEWER BUT IT IS NOT BETTER.
A lot of waifus, but beside that great cheesy soap opera story. But for the price indeed it's still pricy, if only the II version was also incorporated to this, maybe the price would be better. If you had more money, try watch Samurai Warriors Anime for completion. Or either playing II for the later story of several characters in the mainline 4, or also playing Spirit of Sanada instead. For the mainline, it's the most comprehensive yet.
This game is damn good, i hope they also release SW 4 Empires on steam
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
One of the best Musou and a close second best SW after 2, but thats probably just nostalgia All SW characters are here with their best designs Various fun movesets with depth and no cloning, hyper strings, stun or juggle, theres too much The story missions arent DW7 level but still excellent Banger soundtrack, the music is so good and probably the best looking classic musou too This DX version includes all DLCs so its a great deal This release is very well optimized and so easy to play, no bugs, resolution or controller issues that youd find in some older titles on steam, Along with 4-II and Sanada, SW4 is one of the best musou experience
it's a damn shame 5 didn't have chronicles mode or any character creation at all. at least this gem exists.
the enemy is at honnoji!!!!!!!
Online Co-Op doesn't work, which is why I bought it.
100% approved by a SAMURAI WARRIORS 2 fan in PS2 era. Might be the best title in this series.
