Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.14/day in the week to Sep 7 → 8.71/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.43/day in the week to Jul 24 → 8.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
"s.p.l.i.t" is a short narrative driven horror game, with a focus on raw terminal hacking using various commands.

First person gameplay with diegetic & immersive UI.
An IRC chat where you gain intel, and learn more about the facility.
A terminal where you run software, navigate directories, and execute commands.
Detailed command prompt hacking puzzles with an emphasis on traditional inputs.

The facility you and your crew infiltrate is a superstructure of unethical electronics.
The daunting task is only made possible by careful planning, and vulnerabilities hidden deep below legacy code and engineering.

Felt a sense of hope despite how gruesome the situation is
Biggest HEADACHE to play with zero knowledge in using a console. But I prevailed and without guides, I did it. You have to be paying attention and focused on the story. I'd like to say, this was the best psychological horror experience I've ever played. The whole time, I felt unease and scared. SO much fun getting sucked into the atmosphere. A must play if you're looking to fall into an underrated game

Shame it's so short, but still the hour or so it lasts is super immersive and atmospheric.
Gameplay (no terminal), trilha sonora, ambientação e worldbuilding. Adorei tudo Pena que é curto pra caralho, que potencial desperdiçado. Podia ser bem mais, mas vale a experiência

good
An absolute masterpiece! The game is advertised as a hacker simulator but the game really shines in the world building and the dystopian aspects behind it, even with the game being shorter than an hour. The Command line experience was easy enough for me but it can be more difficult for more casual people, but rest assured, the puzzles are not that long or overcomplecated. It would be awesome if there would more game projects that are in the same world to add more plot details to the Tartarus Engine.

I give it a thumbs up, but hear me out... It is WAY TOO SHORT. I was just getting into it and boom... the end. Wtf? It could have been so much longer. I'd be so satisfied if it were 4 or 5 hours long. It has so much potential. You want me to give examples? We could have turned cameras off and on, blackmailed people, messed with powerful figures, hacked bank accounts, hijacked live TV, etc. This game could have been so much more than what it is. I want to be clear: I love this game. BUT it somehow wasted its potential... At least for me... I am HAPPY that this game exists, but at the same time, I am DISAPPOINTED that it’s so short.
