A goofy game that has a lot of GTA 2 charm, but it's more modern, so I guess it's more like a medieval version of GTA Chinatown Wars with a bit of Postal influence. It's fun, it's funny, it's charming, it's a little bit janky at times The main story is pretty short, but if you want to 100% the game you have to do all the side activities, it can take a while, but it's mostly because there are side activities that are like GTA taxi/medic missions etc. which can be a little bit annoying given how strict they are when it comes to time while not preventing you from getting a wanted level. I would recommend this game, but just keep in mind that those side activities can be painful.
I don't usually write reviews but Rustler genuinely surprised me and I've enjoyed every minute. It's basically what you'd get if classic GTA met medieval times, and somehow it just works. The humour is ridiculous in the best way, the quests are entertaining, and there's always something that distracts you from what you were originally planning to do. The game doesn't take itself too seriously, and I think that's part of its charm. Riding around causing absolute chaos never really gets old.It's not a massive AAA game, and it doesn't try to be. It knows exactly what it is and commits to it, which I actually respect. I also picked up the DLC, and I'd honestly recommend it if you're enjoying the base game. The extra content, cosmetics, and little perks make the experience feel even more complete without taking away from what already makes the game fun. If you're looking for something different with plenty of laughs, personality, and endless medieval chaos, I'd definitely recommend giving Rustler a chance. Highly recommended.

So much fun! Nothing more fun than stealing a mans horse.
Issues that should have been patched near or before launch. I wanted to like this game, The opening cinematic is pretty great, it really is a shame that there are still technical issues for a game this old. I guess sometimes waiting to play a game doesn't mean a stable and quality product. I want to be able to enjoy this game but broken controls make the game a frustrating chore. It is a shame cause if the controls were playable the game would probably be a very nice little throw back but technical issues like needing to spam the vehicle button to get on a mount and even then it rarely working is just plan sad. Will be requesting a refund. Disappointed.
Paid $1. The intro alone was worth that. Love the humor. Love the orientation options for mouse and keyboard. It's like GTA meets Monty Python. A game that has humor AND enough polish to make it not feel janky. Worth it.

Decent performance with max graphics settings on Steam Deck This is a cautious rec from me, but the game is pretty decent if you want to fool around. Story has some corny dialogue here and there. Horse riding mechanics are a bit of a pain but it depends on how quickly you adapt. Vinci DLC adds useful weapons to help with some side quests, for better and for worse. Do 100% all the side quests, but don’t try to 100% the other activities and everything else because it doesn’t feel fun. Move onto another game when you’re done, don’t achievement hunt. For the record, I logged in 16 and a half hours and have 19/29 achievements, last two which I got using cheat codes with the console terminal.
Muy piola, increíble de principio a fin. Básicamente es un GTA clásico de la época medieval, con misiones meme y un humor brillante lleno de referencias, la parodia hacia el Caballero Oscuro JAJAJA. El juego rinde genial y casi no tiene bugs, salvo algún NPC fan que se te pega o el verdadero dolor de cabeza del juego: las físicas de las carretas medianas, su ruedas con colisiones suelen bugearse pero nada grave. En la Recolección de Cuerpos y supervivencia sudé sangre con los carros atorándose en las esquinas y los peatones suicidas y policía medieval, para mi gusto, fue corto pero me LLENO, GG. Desbloquear los 29 logros en Steam ha sido un desafío durísimo pero la satisfacción es total. ¡Estuvo Piola! 🏆👑 GG
Love letter to GTA in the medieval time packed full with hommages and nodes to pop-culture. Quite enjoyable if you don't go for the 100% completion and just focus on the story.
