Like all RuneScape games, community is at the heart of everything we do.
We've shaped our entire roadmap based on player feedback, leading us to launch dedicated servers earlier than planned, introduce new combat and new quest content. Working together we're continuing to develop RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Whether you're adventuring with friends or going it alone, every opinion matters, and it's up to you to help us shape the future of our game.

- Body types A and B - Hardcoded hotkeys that make it impossible to use my personal control scheme - KBM and Controller keybinds not on their own menu, conflicts are shown with keys that do not exist in the menu (they're hardcoded like the above) not exactly a deal breaker but a pretty bad sign, if it has this kind of problem right out of the gate what else will be there - Devs these days have to understand that if you have hotkeys but also hardcode things it's the same as having everything hardcoded. - Call me petty but i legit have so many games i dont mind skipping one for now because of bad QoL - And the most important: There's still content in the roadmap, i like that the game launched pretty quick but i'm tired of this practice, is too much to ask to have finished games in this day and age? This is specially bad for survival crafters, i'm not going to replay the entire game because you added a new early game area 6 months after i finished it. - If that was the single problem i would still be ok with it

Loved this in Early Access, waited for full release. Performs worse now on my machine at 1.0. Absolutely slamming my 9070xt at 1080p.
This game is Jagex's version of Valheim. It's peak, and even though it's early access it is very stable, keeping at 90+ fps and 0 crashes. If you're a Linux gamer, expect this game to work perfectly out the box. With the constant updates, new content rolling in, and upcoming cross-platform multiplayer I'd HIGHLY recommend this game to anyone checking it out.
34 fps just walking around with a 7900 XTX. Astoundingly ♥♥♥♥ performance.
I think the game is really cool, but it also runs very poorly. RX 9070 getting kneecapped at very high (not even ultra) with fsr on is wild.
I will change to recommend if they release enough content. This is so barebones right now. To call this a 1.0 release within the same window that Valheim and Palworld drop their 1.0 is an absolute joke. Its competitors have 10x the content.
So, by no means I detest the game. I wish there was a "in-between" review because I am mixed on the game. The positives: I am having a great time with the friends. Exploring together, gathering resources. You know, the typical survival/build game. I enjoy it. I am not experiencing any crashing. No stuttering. The open world looks beautiful. When the sun rises and you see the foggy mornings, it is actually damn beautiful. The negatives: I don't know if I can keep this short. So, every damn goblin, cow and rat ALWAYS have something to say. I wish there was a setting where I can turn it off or make them less annoying. "Yes, I know you are there. No need to scream at me every 5 seconds." I can tune down the SFX but that would literally mute the entire world. I just want them to tone it down a bit. The skills you gain from cooking is not very... rewarding? You learn something new every few or so levels. However, it is just decrease burn chance. I have only burnt shrimp once. After that, I have not not burnt anything else. I don't know, but the leveling system for cooking feels boring. Also, why do we have to camp to wait for our food to cook or any other crafting or smelting? I was hoping as you level, you cook things faster or in general. Yes, there is a spell to increase cooking speed but I don't like it. Lol. Why do the developers think it is a good idea for the food to spit out after cooking? If my friends accidentally gets the cooked food, I just lost the experience. It just feels artificial from the devs where they want me to be planted and just stare at the screen. Where in other survival games, I can tend to other projects. Big rant, I know. But that is like with almost every skill in this game. Nothing really feels good or rewarding. Aside from blacksmithing and maybe crafting. Also, yes! I am a housewife in these games. Kitchen and tending to my garden. So, what? The aggro in the game is just too aggressive. I am having an archer from literally across the map snipe me and now 5 enemies are now surrounding us. The power level stills makes no sense to me. I expect when I am a power level 3, enemies that are power level 1 at the very least, to not attack. It is just irritating. Thanks for reading this review, I am ready for the tomatoes to be thrown at me. I think this game can be good or even better. But we shall see when patch 1.0 comes out soon. For now, this game is a 4 or 5 out of 10.

Fun game for Runescape fans. If only they could make a Runescape 4 in this game engine. That would be a dream come true.
I love this game. I have a lot of nerve damage in my hands and this is not so click intensive as most games. It's fun to grind out the skills. Everything you do in this game is with a purpose. So grinding doesn't really feel like grinding.
