Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 3 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Game is fine, but their controller support is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It says on it that it will "Support your controller". I have a steam controller and without going into the files and heavily modifying it alongside multiple mods and BepinEx, which by the way DISABLES ALL ACHIEVEMENTS, you will NEVER be able to see any controller prompts. Attack, oh just press K on your controller that you're in the game moving around with. K isn't B which is what the controller USES TO ATTACK.
My only big complaint about this game is that the PC controls were so dreadful that I just said screw it and played using a controller even though I mostly only use mouse + keyboard. Other than that, great game.

The Rune Factory offshoot of Harvest Moon introduced both combat and crafting to the farming genre. RF1 was iconic, and simply amazing for the time. RF2 had an annoying start, but got the job done. RF3 was back in the swing of things. RF4 had a dumb story (you do everything because you deeply love a dragon you just met), but the gameplay was pretty damn good. Now they made the jump to 3D, and it just feels bland. The music is more or less rehashed. The mechanics are all recycled from RF4. There's really not much here, and they have the same graphical problem that a lot of other games have: they made things simply too big and empty, and the NPCs too boring. It's not a bad game, but it's definitely not worth the price or your time. Go pick up Rune Factory 4 instead, and wait for RF6. They really phoned this one in. 2.9 stars out of 5.
Mechanic is fine, farming is good, Character is ok. but the main story... eugh... But if you are into something like "the power of friendship" Cheesy ah cringed stories. this game is for you. Side stories writing is way better than the main. You can run this game without GPU which is amazing. Still getting 50-60 fps with the lowest setting.
This game is a mess. It wants to be an action game, a farming sim, and a romance visual novel all at the same time and end up failing miserably in every area. Manual farming itself is fine, but the trees and rocks respawn way too much. Even if you want a clean looking farm and spend 10 minutes in real life clearing out everything around it, everything will be back next in-game morning. Why couldn't they have a separate area where rocks or trees respawn like Stardew Valley? And also there is a storm that can destroy all crops. Why am I punished for playing the game? As you unlock more plots of land, auto watering the crops remain extremely expensive, so either you are spending the whole day going around the plots of land watering or just leaving them be. The combat wasn't too bad, but there is no depth to them. It's just hack and slash. The romancing takes forever. You can only talk to the characters and give them a gift once a day. And yeah, they look attractive, but they don't have anything interesting to say. They also have a stellar (Japanese) voice acting cast, but the characters barely get any lines with the voice acting. The graphics look like a game released 20 years ago, not 5. All the maps are too bright and saturated. The details are blurry, including the 3d models for characters. The areas in between maps are left untextured because devs knew players are going to fast travel every time anyways. And the story is just uninspired, I tried to read through the lines and I didn't have to take sleeping pills for a while at least. I had bunch of other complaints written out when I rage quit this game, but the list is lost. Just know all the things that this game may seem to have going for it are empty inside, and whether you want to farm, date, or fight, there are better games to pick up.
More people get the achievement for finishing the story than the achievement for making it to winter for the first time In all seriousness however Rune Factory 5 has a lot of charm to offer. I don't think it's a good entry point into the series for brand new players, but if you've played any previous RFs then you'll have a good time with this one
It is so ugly and the control is ridiculously unresponsive, we need to go back to the Rune Factory 4, this is not working out at all, either try harder or just make a better version of Rune Factory 4
I've been playing 3 Rune Factory games back to back. Started off with Guardians of Azuma, then moved onto Rune Factory 4 and now Rune Factory 5. I enjoyed Guardians of Azuma and Rune Factory 4 - the former is more sleek modern entry whereas the latter is retro entry with lots of charm mixed with some frustration. Rune Factory 5 isn't sleek nor charming like other two Rune Factory games I've played. I'm playing on since I already bought the game and is past refund period/time range, but I definitely prefer Guardians of Azuma and Rune Factory 4 much more over this game. I bought the game when it was on 65% discount and still don't think it is worth the money. Update after playing it more: I think at least third of my playtime has been me standing there waiting for time to pass - there is no option to fast forward time and I have nothing left to do in the day except for waiting for night events to trigger... this is ridiculous.
A fun game that combines the staple farm mechanics with rpg mechanics I like the switch to 3D Its really fun and I would recommend this for people that haven't tried any rune factory game yet
Several ui issues wanted to love this was fun when it didnt drop my gamepad requiring reload.
