Roots of Pacha

It keeps getting better!

Roots of Pacha has a very inventive concept, fun minigames, great NPC's, and it's kept me engaged for over 60 hours of gameplay at this point. I really love this game.

I bought the game back at release, april 2023 and can honestly say, even nearing "completion" I'm still having fun and enjoy playing, both solo and with friends! I love collecting animals and trying to complete each set as well as foraging for seeds to grow and domesticate. Even with my sieve of a brain and inability to remember all the names, each character is unique and building up friendship slowly reveals their storys while never getting boring, at least for me. My only gripes are minor in comparrison with the entirety of content. I'm still peeved there are 16 different animals with 10 coats each, however you can only build 12 animal sheds. My inner child, trained on Pokémons slogan "Gotta catch 'em all!" is still hoping for a future update to allow more sheds. And I personally dislike the added endgame, that however is a me problem, so future playthroughs will just ignore the final cave. Still overall, I love this game and will keep playing and reccomending it when appropriate

I love this game! It's so unique that the villagers help with the overall town progression. I'm so tired of games where you are the protagonist and have to do everything. The whole area feels more alive and not just generic npcs. The farming is good, I like the fishing minigame. The barn animal breeding is interesting. I wish you could adopt more than 3 pets for your house. But that's really the only complaint.

Very cute and thoroughly enjoyed playing this game.
