Roots of Pacha

I was looking for a Stardew variant that would still feel fresh and fun and I absolutely found it with Roots of Pacha - 21 hours in and I'm still so excited to play more!

This game is really lovely. It's one of the few post-Stardew Valley games that feels like a proper evolution of the farming sim genre. I recently started a new save file and was surprised at how fresh and enjoyable it still was on a second playthrough! The NPCs are a little saccharine but they feel like a real community where everyone contributes, not just your character single-handedly generating the progress of the village. The farming and ranching/animal taming mechanics are fun, and as someone who has a weird fixation on artisan goods, this game really scratches the itch. Oh and the music is absolutely fantastic. This game is really the epitome of cosy for me

it is really funnnn. the mechanics might be the same as any other farming sims out there, but this one is so fun. I love how u can see all players during the cutscenes. i also really like that u have to discover the seeds first. there's a lot of unique features to this one which me and my partner like. but i think there's not much to do too which is ok. right now, im just trying to get the legendary animals and after that idont think iwill continue playing since it my goal and ihave more games to finish? it is really fun thooo so give it a try!!!

Roots of Pacha is a great game that delivers everything that you’re looking for in a farm/life simulator. -You can have up to three animals and the diversity of which types of animals there are is a lot. They even had one of my favourites that I’ve never seen in another game([spoiler]A panda[/spoiler]). -You can ride some of the said animals. -There’s lots of farm animals that you can get that are not only common, but rare and legendary too. The colours are also pretty cool looking. -Every NPC has a unique personality and background story to them. -The ideas and inventions that the clan comes up with are creative and intriguing. -There are fun seasonal events. -There’s other content to do besides tending to your farm. You can cook, explore the caves or other maps, make friendships or romances with the NPC’s, fish, etc. But what sold the game for me in the first place was that the game was multiplayer. Not only that, but I could marry the friend I was playing with AND have children with them. That was game changing. I also really like the theme of the game. I love Roots of Pacha, and you know it’s true because I started playing in November and somehow the game ended up being on my Steam Replay as the game I played the most throughout the whole year. I definitely recommend this game for sure.

Wer Stardew Valley mag wird dieses Spiel lieben. Am Anfang muss man sich einmal etwas reinspielen, aber das Ideen-System für neue Technologien, die Suche nach neuen Saaten am Anfang, die Progression durch die verschiedenen Höhlen und Challenges, es ist einfach schön, cozy und wahnsinnig belohnend. Viele Elemente haben sehr viel mehr Tiefgang als man es z.B. aus Stardew kennt, beispielhaft einfach mal die Tierzucht genannt, in der es einfach Evolution der Tiere gibt. Finde ich SUPER cool und halt auch einfach was auf das man total "hinarbeiten" kann. Das letzte große Update hat dabei SO viel hinzugefügt. Das ganze Spiel ist sehr immersiv und denkt auch an viele viele quality of life features. Begleitet wird das ganze von einem wunderschönen Soundtrack von dem ich nur sehr wünschte, dass auch endlich die neuesten Tracks aus dem letzten Update zum hören außerhalb des Spiels verfügbar werden. Die Musik von den Endgame Regionen, ist echt die schönste. Klare 10 von 10 für mich.
