Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 17 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
A Good Idea, But Not a Good Execution
I really wanted to like Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos. On paper, it has a lot of things I enjoy: procedural dungeons, RPG elements, upgrades and co-op. Unfortunately, the execution didn't work for me.
Gameplay
The basic gameplay is enjoyable at first, but it quickly becomes repetitive. The dungeons, enemies and objectives don't have enough variety to keep the experience interesting for long. After a while, it feels like I'm repeating the same activities with slightly different layouts rather than constantly discovering something new.
Combat
The combat is functional, but it lacks impact. Attacks don't feel particularly satisfying, and fighting the same enemies repeatedly becomes more of a chore than something I actually look forward to. The game has plenty of weapons and upgrades, but I never felt that they fundamentally changed the way I played.
Dungeons & Exploration
The procedural approach is probably my biggest problem. I understand the idea behind making every dungeon different, but randomly generated layouts don't automatically make exploration more interesting.
Progression & Grinding
There is also a considerable amount of repetition involved in upgrading your character and equipment. Progression can feel slow, and some upgrades don't feel rewarding enough considering the amount of work required to obtain them. Instead of making me want to keep playing, the grind eventually started feeling like something I had to tolerate.
Bugs & Technical Issues
Another major problem I encountered was the number of bugs. There were several situations where bugs prevented me from progressing normally, forcing me to completely close and restart the game just to continue. Having to restart the game because a bug has broken the current situation is especially frustrating in a game that already relies heavily on repetition and progression. These issues made the experience feel unnecessarily frustrating and, at times, unreliable.
Final Thoughts
Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos isn't a completely terrible game. It has some good ideas and I can see why people might enjoy it, especially with friends. But for me, the repetitive gameplay, underwhelming combat, procedural dungeons and technical issues ultimately outweighed its strengths. It feels like a game with a lot of potential that never quite manages to turn those ideas into a consistently enjoyable experience. 3/10 Not recommended.

Fun with friends and feels like Zelda. Heavy on the roguelite. Works perfectly on Steam Deck.
Great game, unless your playing multiplayer. (I experienced various glitches)
Fun Zelda like that is for 1 - 4 players. If your playing by yourself its going to take a few runs to get your character up to speed to take on the dungeons without dying. As you play through the game you find more classes and (luckily, in a wise move by the developer) any upgrade you purchase applies to all the classes you find. Obviously for solo play certain classes are better than others. There are 9 or so classes in the game and there is at least one that is available through DLC. The game is also puzzle heavy so along with whacking monsters you'll find plenty of puzzles in the dungeons that generally require activating switches or stepping on pressure plates to either advance or get extra gems to upgrade your character. This also comes in to play with the various tools that can be found to let the player perform extra actions, some but not all are used heavily in the puzzles. There are also plenty of secrets to find in this game. As far the rogue like part of this game goes its not too complicated. Every time the player enters a dungeon, it is randomized. So if you don't like rooms and exit the dungeon you might get lucky and not get it on the next entry. The only instance this is not true is in the final level of all the dungeons the player will always get the same puzzle to get the key to the boss. The overworld as far as I could tell is not randomized. The graphics and sound are decent. They probably won't wow anyone, but they get the job done and they do give the game a kind of cartoony look. Also if you have vision problems the simple graphics are helpful when too much is going on. Control is either KB&M or Controller. I do suggest controller. While you can customize the controls, the game does seem to be designed for controller. If you do try to play with Keyboard and mouse be advised that your characters direction is controlled by the mouse which can make it more difficult to hit something when your character is moonwalking toward it instead of facing it with the pointy end of the sword. I had fun with this and got my money's worth. If your looking for a Zelda - Like that you can run through with friends or just want to run through something similar, give this one a try.
Legal, parece the legend of zelda
