The characters all feel incredibly unique and fun to play. Movement is great and combat is excellent! This has been a blast to play couch co-op and solo.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 6.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great platform fighter where every character: 1. is an anthropomorphic animal 2. has a very strong identity in their gameplay 3. handles one of 4 elements (fire, water, earth or wind) There are copious amounts Smash Bros DNA here but also fighting game DNA: things like low input lag, characters of similar strength, and risk-reward favoring the better positions. Skins are premium but new characters and game modes are free, so even if you just want to try out the abilities and keep an eye out for new content there's a lot of replayability here
Better than Smash Bros. Be honest besides the Nintendo goats its not beating this game. ♥♥♥♥ smash bros doesn't get supported EVO tournaments and Nintendo doesn't even consider it a fighting game.
Bro this game is actually unplayable. I cant think of a single good thing about it.
GOOD GAME WITH GOOD CHARECTER (SRY BOUT CAPS LOCK)
My current favorite platform fighter. I grew up playing Smash, and all of it's iterations hold a special place in my heart, but this game brings together everything I loved from the first Rivals games and from Smash. The skill ceiling is still very high, but the execution needed to do advanced tech is more forgiving than in Melee. The developers keep adding new characters that are free, which is always cool to see. And, we're getting the first official crossover, Mina The Hollower, in 2027! Overall, great game. If you liked the first one and/or you like Super Smash Bros, this should give you a fun time.
Rivals of Aether 2 had a rocky start, but through the dedication of the team they've really brought it back. They've added a significant amount of for fun and casual options for a scrub like me to enjoy. All the characters are cool and original, gouie is particularly loveable. There is a bunch of skins you can unlock, a fair amount of microtransactions for cosmetics but all the characters are always free so I get it. Their past battle passes never expire so you can always get the skins they've released in the past. The movement feels exceptional, connection is clean, lots of variety in stages that are all pretty good except for frozen harbor. I imagine the ranked mode is good but I'm too bad to play against randoms so I mostly just play private lobbies with friends and in there it's a blast! The devs are dedicated and put their soul into this game, I would recommend giving this a try!
IF You like competitive smash bros defnitaly try this make sure to get a friend first becuase online is really sweaty though
