A brutal godlike village sim that melds the god game, management, and tower defense genres! Fight off hoards of monsters at night, and expand your village in the day time. Inspired by games like Black and White, Rimworld, and Dwarf Fortress but not quite like any of them.

i spoke to the guy who made this game on twitter, and he claimed it was being worked on, this was years ago and nothing has been made, i like this and i wish it would not be abandoned but that is unlikely
Far from perfect but it's a fun game non the less. I played a few times and I had a decent amount of fun, though it definitely feels like there's a "right" way to do things and every other strategy is doomed to fail. Furthest I got without resorting to reading online guides is day 16. The biggest drawback of the game is definitely the incomprehensible pawn AI. Sometimes your rangers will sally out the gate to hunt down monsters before they even get to your towers, other times they will gleefully dance around their HQ while a single zombie bashes down a fully upgraded tower that's out of essence. I really wish there was a system for encouraging pawns to go attack or defend certain objectives, akin to reward flags from Majesty. Feeding my population seems to be the thing I struggle with the most. It seems like no matter how many farms I place down, the population grows too fast for the farmers to keep up and my pawns start dying from starvation, which is really annoying. On the bright side, strategically sectioing off a portion of the map and holding back a tide of undead is very fun to watch and manage. I only wish low walls didn't block the builidng range, it makes no sense to me but oh well, there are some ways to "game" that system that make it managable. Probably worth getting if you have some spare cash.

Very unique in nature, done by a single dev. Feels very complete at that point. Played over 100 hours and enjoyed every single one. It might feel unforgiving at first, and it gets harder the longer you stay in one area. But the whole point is to use your first settlement to sent out ressources and people so you can establish another, better base in another map. By the third or fourth map you should be able quickly wall in the corruption so it cannot spread, snipe the buildings and basically clear the map. I'm looking forward to any update, or even RTR2, but life comes first :)
I bought this game a long time ago, played it once and thought, "man this game blows." At the time I was an idiot. After playing some more strategy games and souls-likes, I came back to this and realized it really isn't too bad, you just have to read and pay attention. Honestly was pretty fun with the 10 hours I put in so far. I intend to try to 100% this game at some point.
What a fascinating, immersive game. I bought this about a year ago and at first did not know what to think of it. I struggled endlessly just to manage resources, and eventually took a long break. I came back to it recently, after playing the Dwarf Fortress reboot. Since then I've grown to thoroughly enjoy this game for it's unique soundtrack, environment and dynamics. The learning curve is kind of steep, but it's like hanging out with a bunch of cute lil ants on your Sunday off.
This game is nice and finished. You'll be paying for a finished tower defense town sim. It's amazing. I have spent many hours in this game and intend to spend many more. After you get a village established and the evilness all wiped out it's very relaxing. If you don't find it relaxing, you can always sacrifice a few of your villagers to assuage your irritation. Over all I give this game a thumbs up. If you like village management with tower defense you'll like it.
