A brutal godlike village sim that melds the god game, management, and tower defense genres! Fight off hoards of monsters at night, and expand your village in the day time. Inspired by games like Black and White, Rimworld, and Dwarf Fortress but not quite like any of them.

New update has ruined game play, in a huge war at the moment, and slowly loosing all influence due to me having to pick up mobs and move them away, lost thousand of it just from saving them, where the f is the logic in this, a god is saving your literal life, and you loose faith in seein the act? Literally something snatches 5 zombies chasing you and you loose faith in your god? What is the point of this update.
Listen, if you aren't into long draw out tedious base building games, then this isn't the game for you. You want your game to only take an hour or so? Go play starcraft or something idk. This game takes forever to get things done. But if you love the type of game where you base build for days at a time, like dwarf fortress style, then you will love this game.

Something feels lacking in the game
Content at the start is the same as later, just repeated over and over. Game consists of building a front line of torches and moving up, and doing this in every map with no real upgrades over time except to your "God" powers. Which mostly break up the actual fun gameplay because you cannot pause to manage your powers, so you end up just frantically trying to apply your power when you need it. UI is all over the place, like literally, why is every side covered in important widget? Why not consolidate? Silly. Villager AI is really bad, like some of the worst ever made, they will split building even when you give them priority. There's a ton of placeholder text like in the timeskip mechanic, and so on, for a "full" release. Dev has also pretty much abandoned the game due to "life" reasons and working on another game instead. There's almost no end game other than just conquering more of the same tiles with the same set pieces you have at the start. It is also needlessly difficult to the point of boredom, nothing more fun than random events like meteor showers or bodies that fall from the heavens that literally wipe you out ala Rimworld, but without any of the actual fun narrative. Speaking of boredom, the map is always the same, begging you to pick the optimal starting area, because the objective is to take over the map anyways, so why gimp yourself? I think this is a decent tech demo, but nothing more. Buy Rimworld instead if you want a colony sim or a decent TD. This game falls flat without the proper, timely updates required to breath life into this skeleton.

Came back to this game after trying it over a year ago. Overall I really like it. Simple graphics but it has a charm to it. The game is easy to play but difficult to master. I've completely lost evenings into it and then realised it had gone midnight! Nice settlement builder, resource gatherer an tower defence game. Retro vibe but a lot of neat QOL touches. The discord server is a must for additional FAQs and tips and 'how to's.
Worth the time. Unique. Dev releases the game (great), announces second project, disappears, and comes back (hopefully with new strategies for maintaining their work life balance) and updates this game making it even better. This has brought me a lot of joy. Watching my front line bash against the ever growing evil. Launching ballista after ballista. Slowly gaining more and more land. Each map with different choke points that slowly evolve as the evil and my pawns chip away at resources. My only complaint is watching the evil spread under mountains that are a massive time sink to remove and light with fire places. Miss a single square and get distracted now there's evil making a new base in the corner you never looked at. Behind your defenses. The dev made one heck of a game here.
Great soundtrack, great city building and great tower defence. Overall fantastic game
The achievement structure in this game is a mess. You have to unlock the achievements via branching paths, like a skill tree. Also, the random chance for the Blood Moon event (damaging meteors rain down all over the map and spawn blood slimes that attack the nearest building) and the Eclipse event (corruption enemies attack your base during the day, just like they do at night) seem glitched as I got 7 blood moons (the harder of the two) before I ever got my first eclipse. And I had to save scum to even get that eclipse to spawn in the first place! After roughly 80 hours of gameplay! Buy this game for $7.50 or less and get your 5-20 hours of fun out of it then dip. This game is not worth getting 100% on. I'm just stupidly stubborn.
Very good and unique in it's kind mix of city builder, tower defense and roguelite elements all in one! Gave me very nice old 'Knights & Merchants' vibe from the start and then progressed into a tough Tower Defense. Don't cheese it by reading any guides, just play the game and explore by yourself. It's VERY difficult but also very rewarding. Cheers to Ray for making this gem! TLDR: Made with <3 by one dev, amazing game!
