Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition

a great 90's FPS game with an amazing soundtrack! there aren't as many weapons as doom but that is okay cause what you do get is really good. You got legendary designers such as Tom Hall, formerly of ID software and audio done by Lee jackson and bobby prince. though bobby did 5 or 6 tracks while lee jackson did the rest. go check out the soundtrack on youtube, particualry "goin down the fast way" or the level complete theme "How'd I do" as a couple examples. Nightdive once again did a great job porting and remastering an old game. now if they could do Ultima, i'd be so happy.

NOSTALGIA. It's not fancy, it's just damn good.

Of it's time in a very charming way, and feels vastly different from it's contemporaries. More importantly; it's still fun. Honestly It may have aged with more dignity than it deserved, especially after Nightdive was done sanding the edges. Soundtrack is timeless and criminally underrated, too.

Was indeed very ludicrous. Would recommend.
