Rise of Nations: Extended Edition

Rise of Nations: Extended Edition is still a fantastic strategy game. What I love most is the progression. You start with small villages, basic armies, and simple technology, and over time your civilization grows into modern cities with tanks, aircraft, fighter jets, and advanced technology. Watching your nation evolve across completely different eras is incredibly satisfying. The game combines elements of classic RTS gameplay with territory control, economy, research, diplomacy, and large-scale warfare, and it all works together really well. Even after all these years, the gameplay still holds up and there is a huge amount of replayability with different nations, maps, and strategies. If you enjoy strategy games where you can build a civilization from its early beginnings all the way into the modern age, Rise of Nations is absolutely worth playing.
