Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 17 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Game’s just mid. Tried replaying for 100% achievement, but DLC locked it. Not worth spending more. I get it’s good for many, but for me, there are better games that stay less boring over time.
In the world where Tropicos, Anno's, OpenTTD, City Skylines exists this one didn't manage to grab attention and after forcing myself to give it a chance, it is a pass.

Finicky logistics routes, a slow start and a lack of interesting scenarios make this overall too frustrating to be satisfying.
Tries to be an OpenTTD also-ran but does many things worse: - Bad performance -- Random lags and stuttering and I barely have any infrastructure. Computer sounds like it's about to take off and fly around the room. - Bugs especially when building railroads. - Limit on number of buildings (!) - Unbalanced money-hemorrhaging - Lack of explanation -- I got stuck in the tutorial and had to google the answer. Tutorials are supposed to explain what to do. - Nonsensical tech tree -- Why do I have to research cows? What is there to research?
I love the fact that the game, no matter how much I play has always challenged me to try to fulfill all the needs of a city(s). It is simple to learn and hard to master. This is a great game if you enjoy sim games.
Poorly made game. Not balanced. Horribly optimized. Sucks up a 3090 at 2K. Laughably bad performance.
You can't sell potatoes, wooden boards, or cement... Plus more I'm sure.. But people buy sand all the time, Logs too.. I understand the mechanic, and I hate it.. This was probably done to cause constant money sinks on buildings you built for another purpose or thought you could sell it's products before its made into that products line. So don't build it, you can't turn it off, you still have to pay the workers, and if you demo it you lost like $200k. Take furniture for example, nobody wants boards right? Not that i personally have a shopping list for Menards to buy 960 board feet for a couple of plant stands. You can sell sugar, but if you plant potatoes you better be making it into vodka, Because we don't eat potato around here. Keep this in mind, You probably want to be playing a different game, i know I do.
I like this game in small doses. I probably play it for a few hours every now and again. Its good but not exceptional. If you can get it on sale then great, try it.
Sorry but I cannot recommend this game. I have owned it for a long time (years) but on my previous computer it lagggged so I did not get to play it. Finally I bought a new computer recently and tried the game again. First I tried the tutorial map and that was fine. No issues. Then I tried Career mode and thats where the issues started. I tried to play a couple of games and each time I was using the guided help that tells you what should be doing. The guide suggests that you pick a town with three shops. But on every map I tried there was only one town with three shops, so it feels like its forcing you to pick that one town. Thats is up to you of course, but additionally a number of towns are always across a river, and because the bridge is locked behind research picking a town isolated by the river is a bad move. The game doesn't tell you this though until you go to try and transport something over the water and you can't do it. This kinda of breaks the game as you can't follow the guided challenge until you are able to transport something by train to another town. I also found on one game I tried that the guide wanted me to make a non-raw product and deliver a certain $$ worth of that product to another town. The only problem with that was that there were no shops that were accepting non-raw products. Every town had two stores and they only wanted raw materials. The game was essentially broken again because I couldn't deliver the products so couldn't move past that step of the guide. I did have a toy store in my own town, so I thought ok I will just make some wooden trains and sell them. So I made the factory and produced some trains. They went into my warehouse. But when I tried to send them from the warehouse to the toy store, I couldn't. Both the warehouse and the toy factory were in range of the toy store but the toy store could not be set as a destination. So yeah, at that point I definitely could not move on with the guide. Another game and I just kept on going bankrupt for no reason that I could see. In career mode the guide itself leaves out a few important steps too. Like it never told me to set up a water collector, while water was required for things I was making. I only have a few hours in this game, but those hours were not fun. It felt frustrating and broken. It did not feel like the game was polished or finished. And from what I can understand it never will. My brief foray into the discord showed me that they are working on a Rise of Industry 2. Hopefully that game will be better.
