About
RIG Riot is a roguelike third-person mech-action shooter. Fight increasingly difficult enemies while completing objectives, level up, and choose the Weapons and Volatile Mods that will let you return from your raids victorious. Discover thousands of permanent parts, and build a RIG unlike any other.
Combat can feel quite different depending on the style of RIG you build. Do you prefer a light and mobile mech that bombards their foes from range with a trusty sniper? How about a well-rounded powerhouse who focuses on bringing the pain with missile bombardments and automatic rifles? Or maybe you prefer a tanky build that barrels through all opposition with laser blades and shotguns? Put together your build and then prepare for fast-paced combat against a wide array of enemies.
In RIG Riot, every loss is an opportunity. Dive into the garage and check out the exciting new parts you've earned. Every part in RIG Riot is made out of a combination of components from the various full sets available in the game. There are an incredible amount of parts to find- which will you use?
Finds the best ways to make your unique RIG shine as you travel through increasingly difficult stages. Search for rare weapons and mods with effects that compliment your build to see just how far you can go.

Really fun time. I've only played a little bit so far, but it scratches an itch that has been bothering me since Armored Core Verdict Day. It feels not great to compare the game to a triple A title, *but* the combat and movement does feel like every good idea from every Armored Core game since Armored Core 4 was used as inspiration for this (and a step further: the game has a downward dash in case you're caught floating in the air or need to fly downward quickly. Which is a feature no Armored Core game has!). Mech building is quite fun as well due to the semi-procedural nature of the parts, and the inclusion of the backpack on your mech giving you alternate passives utilities is quite enjoyable as it adds a layer of complexity to your mech build that isn't just leaning into a stat identity as much as possible. All in all it's very straightforward about what it is and what you'll be doing in it, and is a very fun gameplay loop overall with a ton of Rougelite elements slapped on top with the option to play a little more like a Rougelike instead if you prefer.

A great start, hope dev sticks with it and makes it the best fast mech game hands down
Alright, if you like fast-paced mech action this game will be right up your alley. Plenty of customization and RNG parts farming to go around. There's a bit of a learning curve to this game and how it handles it's mission upgrade system. It can be really frustrating in the beginning to figure out WTF is going on. That said, once you learn it, it's a very interesting system. Some combinations of upgrades to certain weapons will turn you into an absolute Enemy Mech Deletion Unit. Once you hit the late-game and start adding in the patrols and really get a decent mech started the fun kinda drops off because you can get super broken if the RNG is with you. You just kinda have to be pointed in the general direction of enemy mechs and they get vaporized. It's a great little 10-20hr game for fans of fast-paced mech combat. Well worth your money. Props to the developer!
Very fun game would recommend, although the sound design can be a bit hit or miss.
peak go play it
It's exactly what I've been hoping for

This game is good. the only purpose of my review is REMOVE THE QUIT GAME OPTION FROM EVERYWHER WHER I DONT WANT TO QUIT THE GAME. I have played Dark souls before. If I want to rage quit I will close the application
Great "Armored core" like, this dev really gets what makes the AC games fun and I hope it starts a trend of other "AC" likes.
