About
RIG Riot is a roguelike third-person mech-action shooter. Fight increasingly difficult enemies while completing objectives, level up, and choose the Weapons and Volatile Mods that will let you return from your raids victorious. Discover thousands of permanent parts, and build a RIG unlike any other.
Combat can feel quite different depending on the style of RIG you build. Do you prefer a light and mobile mech that bombards their foes from range with a trusty sniper? How about a well-rounded powerhouse who focuses on bringing the pain with missile bombardments and automatic rifles? Or maybe you prefer a tanky build that barrels through all opposition with laser blades and shotguns? Put together your build and then prepare for fast-paced combat against a wide array of enemies.
In RIG Riot, every loss is an opportunity. Dive into the garage and check out the exciting new parts you've earned. Every part in RIG Riot is made out of a combination of components from the various full sets available in the game. There are an incredible amount of parts to find- which will you use?
Finds the best ways to make your unique RIG shine as you travel through increasingly difficult stages. Search for rare weapons and mods with effects that compliment your build to see just how far you can go.

I'm new to Armoured Core type games. really enjoy this. the roguelike stuff is what got me to try it, they're really good. nice variety of choices even though i'm always looking for the same ones. Don't understand UI stuff relating to parts but i think that's standard for AC type games? it's great
I've been wanting more Armored Core since completing Armored Core 6. Apparently the dev felt the same way. Big dawg also just never wanted the credits to roll on this one, so he made it a roguelike. <3
Very solid game with fun gameplay. Only thing that drags it down is a extreme lack of polish and weird looking visuals (as someone who doesnt usually care about graphics, this game looks kinda weird. Might be the lighting?). Could be amazing if it keeps getting updated.

It's a great game. I won't lie and say it's alittle underbaked but that's just because it just came out and I can't wait to see what this game becomes overtime. Solid feeling combat and a unique soundtrack!
Plays like AC, with a roguelike aspects! Drop in, have your fun and gtfo. Smooth gameplay, areas are big and open, so far no issues!
Armored Core meets a rogue like = PEAK
e um belo jogo, da pra passar bastante tempo, o combate e versátil e em full speed, ótima variedade de inimigos e muitas mas muitas peças para seu mecha
Man this game is fun as hell. I’m enjoying it on my Steam Deck. This game has a lot of Armored Core DNA, a little bit of Armored Core 3’s layered city. Movement speed of Armor Core 4, wall kicking from 5, firing back and arm weapons at the same time from 6, as melee and melee weapons, physical and energy blades, the pilebunker of course. Hover mode like the quad legs in AC6. It’s all here. Raid mode for a risk of rain-like experience and the classic Arena where you fight other AI controlled Rigs. If you’re hungry for some AC-like combat this game is closet thing. And if you pay attention, there’s even a little lore.
hit the pen. start the playlist, catch some wreck. great game.
RIG Riot is a great game and I strongly recommend it. It is a contender for the most fun of the various AC inspired games from recent years. It does have some issues with a major lack of objective variety, bosses that are overall fairly easy (and don't really show up frequently enough to shake up combat from the usual enemies) and some annoying lack of clarity on what slots a weapon goes into before you actually buy it. It is also extremely story light. But the movement and the combat is incredible. I lack the words to do it justice, if this game seems interesting please try it.
