RIG Riot is a roguelike third-person mech-action shooter. Fight increasingly difficult enemies while completing objectives, level up, and choose the Weapons and Volatile Mods that will let you return from your raids victorious. Discover thousands of permanent parts, and build a RIG unlike any other.
Combat can feel quite different depending on the style of RIG you build. Do you prefer a light and mobile mech that bombards their foes from range with a trusty sniper? How about a well-rounded powerhouse who focuses on bringing the pain with missile bombardments and automatic rifles? Or maybe you prefer a tanky build that barrels through all opposition with laser blades and shotguns? Put together your build and then prepare for fast-paced combat against a wide array of enemies.
In RIG Riot, every loss is an opportunity. Dive into the garage and check out the exciting new parts you've earned. Every part in RIG Riot is made out of a combination of components from the various full sets available in the game. There are an incredible amount of parts to find- which will you use?
Finds the best ways to make your unique RIG shine as you travel through increasingly difficult stages. Search for rare weapons and mods with effects that compliment your build to see just how far you can go.

Unacceptable levels of unoptimized, it runs like complete garbage. You can even see the fps drops depending on camera angle happening live in the gameplay footage right here, For a fast paced game like this it just complety ruins gamefeel and makes it unplayable. Its too bad, other than that it's like the game was made for my preferences. Unreal claims another victim i suppose...
This ♥♥♥♥ rips.
Awesome fast paced jump in jump out game for the end of my stressful work day.

Found out about this game through a random YouTube algorithm pull. In general, the game feels very fluid to play, and the core of the game is way more solid than I'd expected. It feels excellent to play. If this game keeps me pulled in for long enough it may very well be my personal game of the year. HOWEVER, two things need to be said: - Melee does not feel well-supported by the upgrade system. Melee should keep some of the upgrades from the standard pool, but could definitely use a lot more love. Increased lunge distance and increased range/AoE would be some slam dunks, as well as maybe a way to increase charge count before it reloads/goes on cooldown? I'm not a programmer or developer, so maybe there is a reason these things weren't implemented, but if this game gets further content and support this would be my biggest wish. - I know that Armored Core 6 is fairly unique among Armored Core games for having the Stability/"stagger" system, and I went in wondering if a similar feature would be implemented in this game. There isn't a similar mechanic, and that's not a dealbreaker for me, but if you were straight up expecting "more Armored Core 6" from this game, then you may or may not find that to be a dealbreaker if you thought that was an important feature for combat flow in Armored Core 6. Still, you should 100% give the demo a try before writing it off. Peace & love on planet Earth :)
The dev sought out to make a game like AC6, I'd say he succeeded. While it is without From's polish (obviously, this is a single dev man team as far as I know.) But the game FEEL was entirely nailed and I have to pry myself away from the game before it gets much later tonight. Very well made, I look forward to more from this guy, he's good.
I bought this in the middle of the night while tired but if you liked armored core for answer you'd like this.
Excellent mix of AC6 and 4A style gameplay in a compelling pick up and play, rouge lite package. It strips away unnecessary mechanics like stagger and reintroduces mechanics that make piloting feel more interesting such as turn speed while preserving the fluidity of combat. The audio visual elements are a bit rough, especially the music IMO, but are overall not experience ruining. In some ways, I'd even say the lackluster visuals can be endearing or evocative of early 3d games. I'll probably be playing an hour or so of this on a daily basis for a long time.
i love mechs
This game gave me a big grin, from the minute I first launched it to the moment I entered my first raid. My (late) older brother was away for a large portion of my childhood, serving in the military, so we didn't get to spend alot of time together when I was younger; The few times he was able to get leave and visit, he brought his PS2 and a copy of Armored Core: The last raven. Fast forward- We had spent the last 7 years hangin' online together, rekindling our love of video games, music, art, he was the best man at my wedding, and we even played ACVI when it came out on day one. I lost him back in May this year, and it's been absolutely world-shattering for me. This game, however, is SO reminiscent of all the things my brother loved about Armored core and mecha video games in general, and I absolutely KNOW that he would've loved this game. I'm not trying to give some sob story over why you should buy this game; only just sharing why I love this game so much and plan to play ENDLESS hours more. TLDR; if you like, or have ever liked the Armored Core games, Zone of the Enders, or other fast-paced Mecha Third-person-shooters before, I highly recommend you add this to your Library. It's a solid pick made by a developer who knows what makes those games so great. 10/10 Wish you could've played this gem, Rob. Miss you, dude.
