Fight increasingly difficult enemies while completing objectives, level up, and choose the Weapons and Volatile Mods that will let you return from your raids victorious. Discover thousands of permanent parts, and build a RIG unlike any other.
Combat can feel quite different depending on the style of RIG you build. Do you prefer a light and mobile mech that bombards their foes from range with a trusty sniper? How about a well-rounded powerhouse who focuses on bringing the pain with missile bombardments and automatic rifles? Or maybe you prefer a tanky build that barrels through all opposition with laser blades and shotguns? Put together your build and then prepare for fast-paced combat against a wide array of enemies.
In RIG Riot, every loss is an opportunity. Dive into the garage and check out the exciting new parts you've earned. Every part in RIG Riot is made out of a combination of components from the various full sets available in the game. There are an incredible amount of parts to find- which will you use?
Finds the best ways to make your unique RIG shine as you travel through increasingly difficult stages. Search for rare weapons and mods with effects that compliment your build to see just how far you can go.

indie armored core rogue-like goes hard
I stumbled on this game by accident and found a gem. It's a fast, kinetic, high skill-ceiling game with customisability I haven't even begun to grasp. It feels fluid and amazing to play, difficulty is customisable and its grabbed me so hard. Also I checked the dev's youtube channel and the story of this game is 'I wanted this kind of game, it didn't exist, so I made it my bloody self' and you really have to respect that. This deserves your attention and money.

this game is like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crack
Custom mecha fans rejoice! Precisely what it says on the tin - AC6 inspired roguelite goodness from a solo dev. I love it, I recommend it. While it's quite familiar to modern Armored Core, this game has an identity and feel all its own. The graphics are modest and not the point here (think AC4 in terms of sparse environment detail, but if it were on PS1, and you'll be in the ballpark); it's all about customizing your RIG and the feel of combat. Obviously doesn't have the polish of a big studio game, but here's the important part: it's FUN. The other important part for people thirsting for more AC after running 6 absolutely into the ground: this game's procedural nature means you never run out of missions to play. Of course there's only so much variety and there's only six maps, but you won't be playing the same linear story beat over and over, and the variety of parts is Borderlands level. There's also an arena - and once you beat that, there are optional duels out in the missions that are even more challenging. I'm excited for Code Rapid (and every other indie mecha game happening right now) - but to be completely honest, this is the one I've had the most fun with in recent memory by a wide margin. Huge props to the dev for taking it upon themselves to make this, his first game project. I think he knocked it out of the park.
Quite fun with alot of build variety. Demo avaliable that will give you a good idea of what the full game is. Giving you access to both modes on the first map and some early arena fights. Full game gives you more maps, arenas, parts, and weapons.
Been following the development for a while, didn't think I'd be able to play (my laptop is a potato) but bought because I wanted to support the dev - didn't expect that the game would be so incredibly optimised. Been playing for 4 hours straight and still having a blast. Gameplay is fun and the learning curve is satisfying. Never played any of the AC games (again potato laptop) but I've always wanted to and this game is scratching that itch masterfully.
ive got a ton of AAA games in my backlog right now and this is the game thats dominating my attention. Its addicting, its fun and I cant stop playing.
I haven’t had this much fun since Armored Core 2! This game brings back that thrilling sense of discovery, challenge, and mechanical mayhem I’ve been craving for years. Please take all the bad reviews with a grain of salt, because comparing this to a AAA mech game is missing the point entirely. This is a passion project from a solo developer who spent over two years pouring their talent, creativity, and dedication into every aspect of the experience. The result is a labor of love that punches far above its weight class and delivers something truly remarkable. The best advice I can give is to grab the demo and see for yourself. The unique blend of rogue-lite progression and core-style customization keeps each playthrough fresh, solving the 'run out of content' problem that plagues traditional mech games. Every run feels different, and the replayability is decent. The developer is extremely responsive to feedback and bug reports—my own issue was fixed within a day! It’s clear they genuinely care about the player experience and are committed to continuous improvement, which is rare and refreshing. If you’re an Armored Core fan, this is an absolute must-buy. Just don’t expect it to be Armored Core VII—approach it with an open mind and you’ll be blown away by what one passionate developer has accomplished.
