Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 7 → 1.14/day in the week after.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Begin with a single base and gradually transform it into an interstellar power.
Colonize new worlds, construct fleets, organize supply lines, manipulate markets, train spies, raid rivals and build influence across a galaxy that continues developing in real time.
Riftborne is a slow-burn sci-fi grand strategy game built around long term planning. Campaigns can unfold over days, weeks or even months. Small decisions compound over time, supply problems become military crises, minor rivals become major powers, and carefully prepared plans can reshape the galaxy.
A successful empire depends on more than military strength.
Manage production, storage and logistics across multiple colonies. Establish trade routes and resource shipments. Develop specialized worlds, maintain defensive networks and prepare your economy to survive prolonged wars.
Send spies to gather intelligence, sabotage rivals and expose enemy weaknesses. Hire galactic operatives, negotiate with other powers and use economic pressure when direct conflict would be too costly.
The galaxy remembers what happens within it through campaign histories, rankings, medals and long term progression.
Enemy powers adapt to your behavior, including patterns established across previous saves.
Procedural galaxies create different strategic geography each campaign, while long running systems allow alliances, rivalries and economic dependencies to develop naturally over time.
Play a solo campaign at your own pace.
Host a private server locally, online or through SSH.
Join regularly scheduled official multiplayer galaxies with factions and up to 120 commanders competing inside the same persistent universe.
Riftborne is deliberately dense, patient and information driven.
It is made for players who enjoy learning interconnected systems, gradually building momentum and watching early decisions produce consequences much later.

This is my first time playing a game like this but so far so good. I've really only just dipped my toes into the water but I am pleasantly surprised by how much I'm enjoying my time with the game so far. For the price of the game it was definitely trying something new, hope to log many more hours from here.

Game is fun.
I spent the most time in MP. Although the game is still in development, the developer is active and it will be a while before it is fully playable. I enjoyed the game and there are more combinations and options than I expected. I feel like the players are really involved in how the game will look. Technically it is a bit old school, but I don't mind it too much. For the Terran Union!
Great space Idle, perfect while working, I recommand !

a gem in the indie world.
This game is really fun, I just wish the loading in command line bit of it was... well... different. Its very retro but it doesnt work very well. It would be a lot better if they did something like QUD does and run it in a game engine, the developer would have more options and it would work better for everyone. This will play very differently for everyone based on their operating system version and command line settings from what I can tell. Mine DOES NOT refresh correctly which makes the game just about unplayable which is disappointing to say the least. I cant see half of the menus, no settings I change seem to help and the screen refreshing correctly is a hit or a miss to say the least. I do still recommend this, its not a high cost so its worth it, but Im hoping for major quality of life improvements. Even if it stays as a true Command line game, just please make it refresh better and give us some screen options to try to fit it all into the window or something, even just making a guide to show us what we need to change would be great.
I have zero clue what I'm doing lol I read the codex and browsed the discord and yeah still no clue. I'm having fun though. 3 hours in to a campaign and I'm probably 3/5 on spy missions and 1/1 on raids so I guess that's not terrible aside from being broke. It'd be cool if I could play this on mobile too. Edit #1: I don't know why this game is so addicting, but it is. Edit #2: 40 hours in and I still don't know what I'm doing, but still in the same campaign and still having fun.
