Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 20 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Amazingly underrated SRPG that plays like a cross between Fire Emblem and XCOM. You control a small team against a much larger force in all maps and must use a variety of tools and tactics in a guerrilla fighter style to overcome them as enemies are just as lethal as you are against them. Something like a quarter of the maps are stealth missions that play out more like a puzzle with a little leeway for mistakes, however expect save-scumming in getting past them. If this doesn't sound like your thing some of them allow you to go loud anyway. In terms of difficulty on hard its definitely one of the most challenging SRPGs I've played but it allows you to drop difficulty and I think you can grind exp on normal. Beyond the gameplay the story is pretty fantastic with a rich lore that spans the other (gacha) games the studio has made but they are not prerequisites. Overall very highly recommended if you like SRPGs.
Hands-down the best tactical game I've ever played. Drops you into situations that look utterly impossible and tasks you with pulling off a win, and it always feels amazing when you do. 100 hours long and all of it Peak.

Code Name Bakery was certainly a very enjoyable game. The storytelling was very good and was newcomer-friendly (for reference, it takes part in the same universe as gacha game Girls' Frontline, and my knowledge on the story in the series is limited at best). I'll admit that this is one of very few games I've bought on day one (and I still don't recommend doing as such) but I'd honestly consider my money well spent. The combat is fun and the difficulty options mean you can experience the story even if you kind of suck at tactics. For reference, my playthrough hit several difficulty spikes on the normal difficulty option (a couple of which made me put the game down for a few weeks), but there's also two higher difficulties (though I think one is unlockable - I don't see the option when starting a new campaign) and two lower difficulties (one being a "story" mode, so to speak, where friendly characters are obscenely powerful). The art is very nice; there's plenty of CGs and even the sprite art has lots of character to it. Cutscenes (generally represented with the same sprites seen in gameplay) are particularly well-done. The soundtrack isn't very memorable, but it set the mood well. I can safely say I like a lot of the soundtrack, but it's probably not going in my playlist. The game shines best in its more open-ended combat missions. Being outnumbered (quite severely - I'm pretty sure in some missions you're outnumbered over ten to one) means you have to play smart, and tools like mines and utilities like smoke grenades become just as important as your damage dealers. The game's item system offers a decent amount of freedom, and lets you figure out a system that's good for you. I, for example, leaned heavily into utility items, and reduced enemy stats to ensure safer kills (where I had the alternative option of just blasting the enemy with more bombs). That being said, some items are practically required from their sheer utility against endgame threats. The game's stealth missions are probably its weakest. They play more like puzzles than anything else, and while there is some leeway for error, it's not uncommon to have to rewind three to ten turns in the harder missions when you realise you've softlocked yourself. As of recently, you can beat a lot of these missions without stealth but the enemies are naturally stronger to compensate (there's a reason you're sneaking into the enemy base instead of kicking in their front door!) so caution is advised. On a fun side-note, the ability to "go loud" in stealth missions was actually due to community feedback showing a strong preference for combat missions. In other words, the devs actually listen to feedback! The story is very good, though I dislike the means of unlocking the final chapter of the story.
Collecting a lore item in every prior stage got tedious quickly,
though I admit it allowed me to farm extra Parts (used for creating items) and EXP. I can only imagine it being even more tedious if one isn't interested in the greater lore of the world. Playthroughs are locked into a linear fashion (once you clear the first stage, you get put straight into a preparation screen for the second), but you can replay a chapter (of which there are five that make up the main story) upon completion. Notably, this ability goes away upon starting the next chapter, so you're forced to decide when you've prepared enough. Farming is also limited by some limited parts (you can only make 3 top-tier turrets in the whole game, for example) and an EXP cap that raises as you clear stages. As a side note, this game also comes with "2092R", a remake of the game Code Name Bakery is based on. While it uses assets from Code Name Bakery, it feels different in a way that's hard to describe. Character sprites are different - more closely aligned with the original game's characters, and the game is mechanically fairly different (for example, moving in stealth is far slower, which encourages knowing when to get up and run between points more than in Code Name Bakery). In terms of playtime, your skill level will determine a decent amount of it but expect to clock about 60-100 hours by the time you've cleared the main story. I've only played the very start of 2092R, so I don't know how long that is. TL;DR: Recommended. It's just a really good game, and the devs have adjusted the more disliked parts of the game in a good response to feedback.
New game: Improvise, Adapt, Overcome. New game +: competitive genocide Remember to pee and take a dump before starting chapter 5.
The game is not perfect, I am not a person who enjoys stealth missions. However, aside from my grievances with the occasional stealth mission, I really enjoyed playing this game. The gameplay, the story and the music were all enjoyable and memorable. The small references they place here and there to Girls' Frontline are great. Overall, definitely one of the best single player games I've played. I really hope Micateam decides to make a sequel.
imagine being an URNC goon moving in to capture the target or whatever only to be halted by several turrets, a torrent of tear gas and smoke, virtual gravel that gets in the shoes, a large number of explosive booby traps, an impassable barricade materializing out of thin air, and a funny "high-tech" cardboard cutout that you absolutely must prioritize shooting over anything else

I love bread
Certainty of death. Small chance of success. Well, what are we waiting for? RC will require multiple attempts, especially the stealth maps. The odds are stacked against you, and your resources are limited. The game will call upon you to use every mechanic - vision mechanics, items, abilities, terrain - to make it through. And it will be most satisfying when you pull it off. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys the SRPG genre and some solid writing that Mica Team is known for
