Achtung: Kaufwarnung!!! Das Spiel stürzt leider sehr oft ab, wenn man stirbt, einen Spielstand lädt oder wenn man an den Einstellungen etwas ändert. Es gibt zwar auch eine MOD dafür, aber die ist auch nicht so das Wahre. Ansonsten ist das Spiel recht gut, jedoch auch recht schwer aus heutiger Sicht. Die Level sind gut gestaltet und detailreich, jedoch gibt es meistens auch nur einen Weg. Guter Ego-Shooter, wenn es läuft. Jedes Spiel wird einfach besser mit den Fallschirmjägergewehr 42.

Läuft bei mir nicht standardmäßig in 16:9 bzw. FHD. Das Spiel kennt nur alte 16:10 Formate. Das hätten sie ja mal patchen können, wenn sie noch 5€ dafür haben wollen.

25 years ago, this game got me into the shooter genre. Besides the Half Life series one of the best games i have ever played. Now after all these years finally legal available in Germany.

I mostly enjoyed my time with this one, though I did encounter a few bugs here and there. In a desperate attempt to give the Axis the upper hand and win World War II, Himmler tries to resurrect prince Heinrich I and his knights. That's all you need to know, everything else serves as a vehicle for Blazkowicz to blast some Nazis, which is all I expected from a Wolfenstein game. On the graphics front, it looks good and is on par with other games from 2001. The game is quite inconsistent in its level design and the number of secrets spread across its 26 missions. I'd rather have fewer missions with more polished maps. The stealth section in the "Forest Compound" level is very finicky. Nevertheless, it's a solid early-aughts FPS campaign. From what I've read, the Xbox and PS2 versions have some changes, so I'd like to play them someday. P.S. This franchise has an aversion to shotguns.

best Wolfenstein game, period.
