Return of the Obra Dinn

A masterclass in solo indie game development, delivering very safely; one of the best puzzle games in the past twenty years.

Nothing has scratched the puzzly itch for me the way that Obra Dinn has. That feeling of being so *smart* when a set of clues come together and you find the last piece that puts a sequence to rest. I will be chasing this high for the rest of my life.

An incredibly unique and inspired concept, excellent atmosphere, and probably the best example of investigative gameplay I've ever seen. I would love to see more games like this. Even after you've solved the mystery of the game there's still decent replay value in going back through and finding clues you missed the first time as well as understanding more of the context of all the scenes and relationships between the characters. A few minor issues I have such as the pacing at time, the sometimes harsh-to-look-at art style, and the complexity of menu navigation keep me from giving a perfect score but it's an easy 9/10 game for me, I think it's brilliant.

I would love to lose my memory just to replay this game again. Do not search about this game, just buy it, experience it and be amazed! 10/10
